Podjiba

We've done it again! Much like last year, Dustin, Tori, and Dan have somehow managed to get themselves stuck on a deserted island. Luckily, they have the resources to watch one streaming service for the next year. Which one will they choose? Find out in today's episode! The services up for consideration: The services up for debate: Amazon Prime AMC+ Apple TV+ CBS All Access Disney+ HBO Max Hulu Netflix Peacock Showtime Shudder Like the show? See, what had happened was this... (It was me. I didn't do my homework.) But I had a good reason! (It's not.) Anyway. This week on the show: Producer Seth joins us to talk TV, which is great because he's much more in tune with what Tori brought to the table, including the latest happenings in Duckburg on 'Ducktales', and then we get mostly into 'The Haunting of Bly Manor'. We also play an untitled game of Seth's creation (59:02)! Like the show? Remember a year ago, when Tori would deliver her Supernatural updates to a very confused Dustin and Dan? My how things have changed. As Supernatural returns for its final bow, now all three hosts are fully on board! We discuss last week's new episode, along with the new NatGeo (but really, you're probably watching on Disney+) show The Right Stuff, and we get to the end of the road with The Boys for season 2! Also, because Dan couldn't come up with one, Dustin came up with a game (57:01)! Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

It's 'Ted Lasso' week on Podjiba! Tori agreed to binge the entire season now that it's done, and SHE. HAS. THOUGHTS. Prior to that, we also got into a grab bag of topics (11:41) like 'SNL', Showtime's documentary 'The Comedy Store', and the season finale of 'The Walking Dead'. Then, 'Ted Lasso' (40:24), and a game (1:15:26)! Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

Here's what you need to know about what we know: 'The Amber Ruffin Show' was delightful! 'Last Week Tonight' was bleak! Dustin ruffled some 'Supernatural' fan feathers in a very mild way! We watched almost all of the very long 'Fargo' premiere! A game! (1:03:46) Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

Podjiba is one! That's right, we've spent an entire year on this. Congratulations and you're welcome! This week on the show: Dustin Teaches Television! Specifically, he tells us all about all the new shows he's watching, like 'The Third Day', 'Departure', and also how apparently he likes 'Raised By Wolves' now? So much television, and yet somehow Tori and Dan didn't watch ANY of these new shows! We also get into a bunch of random nonsense up top like something about beets and hunting season, and play a game that relates back to our very first episode (1:05:24)! Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

EVERYONE SHUT UP ROXANA IS BACK! Sorry. I mean, Roxana Hadadi returns to the show to hang out, talk 'The Boys' (22:18), 'Lovecraft Country' (51:50), and generally make Podjiba a better place. We also play a Dustin-created game (1:21:40) in which he almost certainly cheats and/or lies! #Dustincheats #Dustinlies Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

...other than being our topics this week, I mean. Because there is something! (The answer is very silly. But I promise we talk about it in the podcast this week!) That's right, we return to our regularly scheduled programming by discussing some newly scheduled programming, like 'Ted Lasso' (16:23), 'Raised By Wolves' (30:31), and the return of 'The Boys' (37:44), all before we get to a fun new game (1:03:13)! Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

It's our last 'Supernatural'-centric episode (at least until the final season starts airing again in October), and so we say goodbye by discussing: Season 10, Episode 5: Fan Fiction Season 11, Episode 4: Baby Season 15, Episode 10: The Heroes Journey We also get into a LOT of nonsense this week. Seriously. But the fun kind of nonsense. Back to something resembling a normal episode next week! (Spoiler: we will almost certainly be talking about 'The Boys'!) Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!

This week on the show, we get around to Chuck Shurley, a.k.a. God on 'Supernatural'! And also Paris Hilton. What can we say, Professor Preston is unpredictable! We also learn just how much of a fan Dustin has become, get in some bonus 'Friday Night Lights' discussion, and Professor Tori Preston assigns us a game (50:40)! The viewing we did this week include: Season 4, Episode 18: The Monster At The End Of This Book Season 5, Episode 5: Fallen Idols Season 11, Episode 20: Don't Call Me Shurley As for next week, our episodes will be: Season 10, Episode 5: Fan Fiction Season 11, Episode 4: Baby Season 15, Episode 10: The Heroes Journey If you've been with us all this time, hope you've enjoyed the trip down 'Supernatural' lane! If not, well, something closer to normal begins after Labor Day! Our theme song is by Juan Gutierrez!
