Hersh, when I got back to Studio 18 I had some cleanup work to do, and you know I'm not afraid to do just that! The boys got a lil outa control when I was absent last week... but as you know, not everything goes as planned. So, when I sat out to straighten them up a bit, they all turned on me and in the end they absolutely buried me by taking something I said out of the original context. Typing of original context, Deacon Dustin completely took an O.T. (short abbreviation for the Hebrew Scriptures) verse out of it's context to give context to a fight they started with the original editor back in February (pronounced FEB-YOU-AIR-EE). I just typed context extremely too many times for one episode description, but who even reads these? During the feedback, we found out that Gen Z Boy, Brooks, is an auctioneer now (you probably can guess the context of that statement without listening to the episode). We gave some hard hitting fashion advice and I told a couple of fan encounter stories from the week I was absent. Hint: one involved me and you Hersh... In the end, I just had to close the service down and say in my heart, 'we'll try again next week. Enjoy!

Hershall, I hope all is well and if it's not, this episode should steer you in a better direction. We (the boys and I) tackled (not so big word for tore into) some topics today... Right off the bat (a baseball term used for explaining how quick something happened), Gen Z Boy Brooks attacked pioneer works. He also tells a story about how he revealed the truth about his hate for reading the Bible to a recent visiting minister, of all people! I cut Brad's ear off (hint: it was verbally) and Dustin reached down and picked it up and healed it back on Brad's head (another hint: a surprise that the Deacon is playing the part of healer/Messiah). We had a conversation about Old Rockers, Life Coaches and Spiritual Gambling (if there is such a thing.) All in all, I think you can find something to be underwhelmed by here today. If nothing else, be un-impressed by the Artist Spotlight segment from Bro. Brad.... N-Joy (slightly revised way of typing 'be satisfied').

Hersh, it was an appanage (big word for special favor) to have you on today's program via the dialing/answering device. We got to discuss the events of the last Youth Camp week that left us all parched. We lacked a constant water supply which caused a great deal of struggle. All of the bragging we did last week, we had to apologize for... We did discuss some very relevant topics including: day service board member attire (big word for clothes), Hair-netted Maintenance Men, Lone Wuf's, Brad's Large Abdomen (big words for big belly). In the end, I had to include a joke that was sanitized and the boys kept pushing the line with it staying that way.... We finished up with a "Watcha Listenin To?" segment. Enjoy!

Hershall, today got rather serious and it happened rather fast. Gen Z Boy, Brooks came in talking about a sermon he heard recently that was dated and the topic had lost some relevance and that spurred (cowboy sounding word) a long conversation that was more ministerial advice than anything (and I know for a fact that we aren't authorized to give out that kind of advice). We finally finished that segment and I played a song as I do sometimes that interfered with a new segment we had planned called "Artist Spotlight." I played the very top song that Deacon Dustin had picked for the segment that wasn't to be done til late in the episode. It was all unplanned (I know that is a complete surprise to you)! We had some feedback from a few different places, one of which was from our Patrons on Patreon. We were requested to do a rich man poor man segment and we also were asked to share some funny youth camp memories... Enjoy!

Hershall, we had to deal with a bunch of things during the recording process. For instance,  the Deacon had some technical difficulties with his headphones. when that happened I paused the show and forgot to push record again and it costed us about six minutes of the most underwhelming content that we'll never get back. We followed that with some wonderful discussion about how Christians witnessed in the 80s and 90s with some great T-shirt material. Then we had a colossal (big word for big) fight erupt on air between the youngsters (big word for young folk). The Songleader and Gen Z Boy were in a word tussle over prayer requests. We had a couple of commercials today and some feedback, and as always, Brooks struggled to read. We ended with a wonderful tune by the mighty Cats. (oh yeah and Randy showed by up via Choo Choo train) This gave some of us a case of the Collywobbles... Enjoy!

Hersh, I wilI be the first to admit, the titles of these episodes are getting more and more ridiculous. (I think I not only will be but now was) I just hope that the trend doesn't mean that the podcast itself is going down that same trajectory (big word meaning fast flying path). In my defense, it is a challenge to come up with catchy titles which is also part of what we talked about... catchy sermon titles. We also did a new segment by Gen Z boy that included us ascribing a story to a biblical character's name. (Be prepared to be under-whelmed) We learned that our Songleader is a heavy worshipper whilst cutting the grass. I had a difficult time pronouncing the word of the week and that gave way to a short discussion on Psalm 150 including a mispronouncing of a famous unknown musical instrument (hence the second word in the title). We also talked about some music lyrics and other un-important things. Enjoy!

Hershall, I hope all is well there where you are where ever there might be... (lots of there's and where's there) The crew was all back in Studio 18 for an action packed show. I do mean what I say because at one point toward the end of the episode, Deacon Dustin was very affrighted (big word for frightened in the past tense and since this episode was recorded in the past tense I chose to use that big word). The reason for his fear was a person came by studio 18 window and her face peering in scared the proverbial beejeebers (an unknown big word out of him! Before all of that happened we talked about a great many topics. Our feedbackers gave the inspiration for the title. One feedbacker wrote in full agreement with Gen Z boy's recent comment about telling someone they have bad breath and another person of the female persuasion wrote in completely offended at the commentary given by our song leader concerning the body mass index of a certain genre of humans... I'm using big words, I know, but I'm trying to be cryptic as to not further offend. We also talked about Bumpstock Brooks, closet prayer warriors, Rolled R's, amongst other things. There was one glaring thing missing from this episode for which me and the editor are grateful...  Enjoy!

Hershall, we've had a wonderful 4th annual camp meeting and this is the final day. It's hard to believe another year has come and gone. We actually checked in with you at the beginning of the episode and were already under conviction about the serious content that we debated about whether we are going to be able to continue the podcast. I thing we will try to be back next Wednesday and see what to do from there. Bro. Jon Brock discusses the subject of what it means to be a hypocrite.
