Hershall, I trust that all is well with thee and thine (KJV sounding phrase). We have some great things in store for you today per usual. We started the show today and I was immediately confronted by our Deacon for a recent blunder that he says I made in the pulpit. He brought me under sharp criticism for changing my stance on a particular passionate topic and you know how we try our best to remain unchanged seeking neither fear nor favor. So I conceded to the Deacon and we moved forward. We had a special guest on the program as well.  It was a member of my immediate family and said member was interrogated (big word for questioned) by the co-hosts about various things including but not limited to said person's favorite place of food consumption. (previous sentence sounded very intelligent even law-like) Our friend Og emailed about his recent overseas trip. We introduced some new things today on the show as well. One of which was to raise money for a very specific cause... well, you'll see.  We ended with a surprise new segment by the deacon where we had to decipher the difference between Worship lyrics and Love song lyrics. It was very interesting to type the least. We are always thrilled to have you here and hope you enjoy the show!

Hershall, I am so glad you are here, as always. We have another day of topics to bring. We discussed the recent trip that our beloved (big word meaning a much loved person) Songleader made across the big water. He tells of the many challenges he faced while traveling abroad. Included were: Praying over food, Shoeless dining and a community chop stick... Also, we had some feedback which included a startling revelation that almost had the boys preferring the use of tobacco products 🚭.... as you know, our church services here at Pod'N Me have been so far 100% smoke free. I was having trouble "breathing easy" for a few minutes until I could get them back on the straight and narrow.... We also talked about sopped feet and Rustin Dustin got a new name! We ended with a serious conversation about the responsibility that lays on the should of the church leadership as well as it's members.... Enjoy & God bless!

Hershall, my what an honor to hear your voice again today at the beginning of the show. We are so glad that you are ok and still making improvements to the hall (big word for home) there. Loretta even sounded off and we're thankful that your marriage is still in tact and doing well. We got some great gifts today from none other that Loretta's  kindred (big word for relatives). I'm referring to, of course, The Anointed Bass Player and his bride (big word for wife) 👋 Hannah. Everyone in Studio 4 received at least one gift and for that, we are so grateful. Dink was back at the News Desk and we had a couple of items from the Basement Bargains. We learn more of the care routine for Deacon Dustin's dog as well as get an update on the Cottrell Ranch.... The feedback was wonderful as always and we even had a stellar (big word this time for less that wonderful) joke/story... The delivery was flawless at least. Hershall, I really don't even know how to describe what went on today.... First Dink was on location shooting down a 🕵️‍♀️ SPY balloon... yes you read it here first (unless you listened to it first), our news anchor was out in an undisclosed location when he encountered a balloon of some sort-well, you’ll hear. We then had a wonderful time in Studio 4 where we (Deacon Dustin, Songleader Brad, and Your Humble Virtual Pastor) had so much stuff to talk about that I can't even recall what all it was. I started by correcting everyone on how my name is pronounced and then the Deacon followed suit. He and I sang some mighty powerful songs throughout the episode. On one such song, I pronounced the name of the artist wrong.... We had some wonderful feedback and even had an installment of the Basement Bargains. In the end, Deacon Dustin gave a shoutout to a listener and fellow content creator... Were also had a tribute to a favorite singer of the Songleader. 🎶 E-E-E-E-E-E-Enjoy!

Hershall, I'm glad you're here today because we had a very needed conversation. We did have some light hearted banter in the beginning, per usual. I delivered some flawless jokes, Bro. Brad told tale of quail eggs, and Dink Burbank interviewed a "hero of the week" for the first time on Pod'N Me. Then we had a somewhat lengthy, but very important conversation about a subject that is becoming increasingly popular of late. That is a term called "Deconstruction" and we talk about an article that gave 4 reasons why people abandon or "deconstruct' their faith. It is our hope that through this conversation today, if there is someone that is contemplating going down that path, that they will see the bigger picture and hold on to their faith in God and His Son, Christ Jesus. Hershall, we hated it so bad that you and Loretta weren't able to make it to Studio 4 to host our 2nd Annual Valentine's Day episode for the second year....(yes I know that's what annual means) We did have a most beautiful guest by the name of Hannah R. Birdsong.... (My Endless Love) She answered some V-Day (short word for Valentine's Day) trivia. We also found out 🥁 in the 🥁 course of our conversation 🥁 that she graduated from "the school of tomorrow" (long phrase for ACE). As we moved along, Deacon Dustin had a very touching reading to his special Valentine.... that took a turn, as you might expect. Songleader Brad gave such a wonderful brag on his wife that it bout had the whole farm in an up roar! We ended by giving a few opinions on weddings and all things love, peace, and chicken grease! Hersh, how shall we once again say, thank you? You are so good to gather in to listen to us as we spill our absurdity (big word) on a weekly basis. Our very own Deacon Dustin tells of a recent grocery store trip that upon his return home shows how much he cares in being the bread winner (in providing waffles) for his family. Hershall, I am so privileged to be back with the boys this week. It was wonderful to be able to sit in studio 4 and bask in the presence of the Songleader and Deacon. They did a wonderful job in my absence last week. We started by once again bringing all of the new listeners up to speed on what goes on here at Pod'N Me. We also had a live audience which consisted of Bryce and Addyson Birdsong (my twain youngest offspring). We even had Bryce do the intro to the feedback segment live.  We checked in with a friend of Pod'N Me, Rev. Donnie King. He's been a guest on the podcast several times and we wanted to talk to him about The Pod King Bible Study, a podcast that he hosts. He told us about some new material that he has been covering on his special edition episodes. He's an outstanding man and a great friend. We also heard the Deacon give an update about his new K-9 (big word for house dog). Little did we know that we would all confess to his inspiring us to get into pet owning... well, you'll see. Hershall, first things first, we are sorry that there was no episode last week and that is explained at the beginning of this episode. I also want to thank my co-hosts for stepping up to the challenge today of recording in my absence. They did a superb (big word meaning good) job handling the podcast today. We learned several things today including: the Deacon's new dog could be a drug dog, Alabama (the Deacon's favorite Christmas group) is referenced in the scriptures, Songleader Brad had a strong witness for Christ in his school classroom. The church leaders also told us about a few fans that they met over the past few weeks. All of this was followed up by some of their favorite teenage tunes. Hershall, here we are in the second week of the year trying to hand out some hope... that was in the latter portion of the episode. Before that happened, we had the normal stuff such as Feedback with Songleader Brad and some ever relevant commentary from Deacon Dustin. Typing of Dustin, the production room added a new segment this week concerning the Deacon's new K-9. (The typist -big word for typer- is having a difficult time keeping from inserting a wonderful joke about K-9s here)
