Hersh, we're back here again broadcasting from Studio 4, the ole home place. We had the Superfan start the show with an update and a comical incident that she encountered here in the great state of Oklahoma a few weeks back. She even gave us an update on you and how you and Loretta were representing the podcast well... The Deacon showed up dealing with a summer cough but still powered through the service. I share some recent speech problems, Dink brought the news and we even debuted (big word for tried for the first time) a new segment called, "Watcha Listening' To?" We had some great feedback and of course the jokes were so strong that my last joke caused us to stop the exit music and give some much valued/needed/sought after dating advice... Enjoy!

Hershall, thanks for again allowing us to gather in Studio 17, which is also your office, to have this wonderful conversation with some of the greatest people I've ever know. I'm thankful that you are here as well to chime in with your thoughts. Our guests, Rev. and Sis. Blue have spent the greater portion of their ministry involved in youth and kids ministry. (come to think of it, Hersh, this may be a clue to why we connect so well with them) They give us some behind the scenes of what their start in the ministry was and how God called them both and brought their lives together to form what I feel has been one of the most effective youth ministries of our time. They are always quick to give God all of the glory for any success that they've experienced.  They also give some very helpful advice for anyone who has the burden to start in children's ministry. Hershall, Thanks so much for allowing me to come to your office aka Studio 17 and record with a friend of Pod'N Me. It is always great to have you on the podcast but I'll have to say (and I just did) that you and I were in tall cotton so to speak (or type) during this episode. The friend I'm referring to is the man who was the debut (big word that doesn't sound like it looks) guest on this podcast, Rev. Mike Blue. We talked today about something that was the subject of his message at a Minister's Conference a number of years ago and has had such an impact on me personally. It's the subject of Overwhelming Stress. Bro. Blue identifies three different kinds of stress that we can encounter and illustrates it in the most wonderful way. He follows that with the remedy for every kind of stress!  I won't spoil it for you here. I know our listeners will enjoy hearing this today! God Bless!

Hershall, we did it... what, you say? After over three years doing this podcast, we actually had a serious (well that's debatable because we can't seem to have those) conversation about allowing you and the other 9 listeners to have a way to support the show... It was a rather uncomfortable conversation for all three of us (me, the Songleader & the Deacon). After that, we had a wonderful feedback segment during which we had a listener tell us how her young child got her in a "nice belly" debacle (big word for disastrous bind) over some previous commentary on this very podcast. Bro. Brad got a new name, Bro. Dustin was Hunky Dorree, we  heard from a "red handed evangelist" and we even talked a little bit about The Brat (as in bratwurst) Family. Hershall, how about that? What, you say? The title of the episode tells it all, it looks like we are going to hear about a recent  celebrity sighting that out very own Deacon had at a meet-n-greet so to speak. Well, I won't spoil the ending for you so just listen to find out what happens. Hershall, we have a big surprise for the final day of camp meeting 2023. Bro. Davin referenced this man yesterday on the episode and how he has been an influence in his life... Well, it just so happens that I am his pastor. This is a familiar voice to the Holiness people... Rev. Don Rich. He and his wife, Sis. Shirley share some experiences that they have had in their ministry over the years and though they aren't able to travel and preach any more like they used to, they still have a desire to do what they can for the kingdom of God. They have been an encouragement to me over these last few years that I have been their pastor. Enjoy!

Hershall, for the second day of Campmeeting here this year we finally had the Songleader and Deacon show up... They missed yesterday but we know how hard they work to make this meeting possible. Someone else who showed up for service is our speaker, Rev. Davin Burnett. He is a close friend of mine and has been for many years. He shares some interesting strories of his heritage in the holiness movement. He has had a great burden to help the elder ministers that have given their lives to carry the gospel. Hershall, It's Campmeeting time again and I'm glad you showed up for church! I'll tell you who didn't make the first service today is the Deacon and the Songleader, but we understand that sometimes even board members can't make it to the first service due to the demands of groundskeeping and the such like ( a rather empty sounding ending to a sentence). We do have some close friends show up for the episode. It is  a wonderful privilege to have Rev. Donnie King and his father, Bro. Donald King, the hosts of The Pod King Bible Study podcast here today. We talk about some camp meeting memories that we have and then Rev. King shared with us some things about one of the most  pressing issues of our day. He talks about it's dangers as well as a wonderful way to deal with it in every one of our lives! Hershall, what a day is all I can say! Thanks for listening in again. Twas a wonderful time we had today. We started off with a heated (not really) debate about clapping in church. Following that, I actually jokingly (big word that never flows well when spoken) quit the podcast to be a sailor. The Songleader gave an emotional review followed  by many more reviews. We learned what a high class chuckle is and we discussed a popular eating establishment which is the hot e of their signature roll throwing.
