Hersh, It feels so idiosyncratic (huge word for odd) that I am still the one doing these episode descriptions and we have a brand new president of this lowly esteemed podcast. As you know because he called you today and got your full support, President Brad Cottrell has been officially inaugurated as the Commander-in-chief of the podcast and his Vice President is our very own beloved Deacon Dustin Wakley. As for me, my feelings have been hurt a bit but I am now Speaker of the House and with this new administration there has been some change and very little hope in my estimation. But, I vowed to support and will do so as long as I can in good conscience. We heard from you and your job remains and then we also told of some harrowing thanksgiving stories.... All in all, we are all (excessive use of the word all) doing our diligence to make the best of a ba... anyway we're moving forward. Enjoy!

Hershall, this was one for the proverbial record books! We had Dink Burbank in Studio 18 and it was all downhill or uphill from there depending on how you are looking at things today. Hey Hersh, (new greeting that I hope you like) We had another sublime (big word for wonderful) day here on the virtual church cast you've came to know and love. There was another absence but we don't concentrate on what we didn't have, we colligate (big word for unite) behind what we do have and go on with the program. We made a HUGE announcement about the next couple of weeks that is no doubt going to amaze all who listen and bring glad tidings to most hearts. A political show is in the works so mark your calendars. (It will be most rare here on Pod'N Me.)  We had some great feedback from the folks as well as an unpaid employee (Og by Name) was greatly ill at ease over another feedbacker and he let his disdain (a big word) be heard by the world. Dink delivered the dynamic dispatch of reportage in a dashing way. (I'm impressed with myself due to that string of words!) We ended with a serious discussion about the role of confession in the church today... Enjoy!

Hershall, We had quite a day here on the church-cast. To start with, our beloved Deacon missed church. We had a great fill-in named Brooks S. Birdsong. He is a young man that has been on Pod'N Me previously and he did a/an (insert catchy adjective)  job at filling in today. We invited our audience to just "come as you are" and not to feel bad about the way they look for the virtual service. We were incorrectly corrected by a listener in the feedback segment. I also brought a stellar joke that brought a truck load of excitement. Speaking of truck loads, we actually ended with a huge amount of advice of the serious spiritual kind at the end. There was so much conviction that we brought on ourselves that I almost had to ease out of Studio 18. Dink brought some News as usual and all in all, we had good day! Enjoy!

Hersh, We have a wonderful show lined up today. I don't for one moment think that you'll be disappointed (big word for malcontent). As the title gave away, we started with a very relevant discussion on drive-thru food and we even had the production room doing some great work for added effects. That talk led to a comment about blue and other colors of chicken. We seamlessly moved to other topics, some of which we brought up by the listeners in the feedback segment. Topics like measuring from the withers and charted female voices... I know all of these things are riveting content. We heard from Dink Burbank and his News Desk and also heard from the old familiar voice of Sis. Connie and Elder Ronnie from the Church Basement Bargains. At long last we reviewed some various facts about hunting season for all of our avid hunting listeners... Enjoy!

Hershall, it was an honor to speak to you today via the telephone and we look forward to the time when you are in the new Studio 18. We talked about a few things prior to you being on here including a serious portion at the beginning of the show to remind us how much we need God in these troubled days! We also had some great feedback, as always. Dink was almost absent for his news segment which resulted in a last minute emergency fill-in, Rev. Andrew Blevins, who was incidentally last week's guest here. Dink called in and wrecked his fame and then we all three had a good conversation that really did end in disarray due to a new sign-off salutation that Dink made up for evangelists to use. We ended the program by talking to you, Hersh. We'll let everyone hear that exchange and hopefully enjoy!

Hershall, We did exactly what the title states at the beginning of the show today. We plum ran a tar off of the virtual church bus. Thankfully we were able to get it back rollin' in the right direction. Speaking of rollin' down the road, we shared a song that was requested by a real trucker friend that is also a Southern Gospel Music Connoisseur (big word for an expert). He will be very pleased to hear his request being granted. That led to a discussion on quartet bass singers (all riveting content here) and some other un-important randomness... We also enjoyed a moment where I revealed the gifts that you gave to the three of us (you as in Hersh, us as in me, Brad and Dustin). We talked about truth in advertising as well as heard that Bro. Brad turned the bathroom light off on a co-worker out of sheer frustration! 

We also had a wonderful time with our special guest, Rev. Andrew Blevins. He told me after the fact that he is a cousin of yours.... We have heard about your cousins but now we have seen and met another one! He is a gifted preacher but we didn't talk much about his ministry because we wanted him to share some stories of his time as a hospital maintenance man... that he did! It was a joy to have him here. Hershall, you read the title correct... There is a new Birdsong on the podcast, but then again, why am I telling you? She was a member of your church before someone stole her heart... We talk about the previle..... challenges of becoming a Birdsong. We also heard a song about a church pew at the first of the program. We tell our awkward first encounters with the new Birdsong girl as well as get her perspective on this trash pile of a podcast. (Hint: she was a fan before the possibility of being our daughter)  We even talked to her about the serious topic of social media and some of it's negative effects. She gave some I sight and maybe some unsolicited (big word for un-asked-for) advice. In the middle of the podcast as I normally do, I had a joke about two guys in a boat that came away with a very strong condemnation (big word for denunciation) of smoking.... here again, I did my level best to prepare my cohorts and the first editor (my lovely Hannah) with a PSA for the fact that in NO WAY do I condone the actions of those in the joke 🚭. We did have a first time winner/player on Name That Tune and just a little hint, she did great! Enjoy if possible!

Hersh, I almost quit the podcast but after much contemplation (big word for ponder), I acquiesced (one of the biggest words ever used on here meaning to reluctantly accept) the fact that Pod'N Me wouldn't be what it is without me. I DID have to have a heart to heart talk with my co-horts. Let's just say they both seemed very shook up at the possibility of me resigning my all important position as "President Everything" on here. We did manage to have an excessive amount of music today and some was loved by none and some was loved by some... In the mix of it all, we also covered my recent travel west and meeting celebrities, we found Jesus in a Ford (supposedly), Dustin got mad at the editor, etc. In the end, we found out why Og has been absent and it has to do with his arm... Enjoy if possible!
