Hershall, before you have your phone blowing up with upset fans questioning what has went on with our News Anchor, Dink Burbank, I ask you to please read the episode title again carefully. He is still on staff but he did have a very close brush with career disaster. We'll just suffice (big word) it to say that for now. After that Brad started the service with a favorite hymn from a favorite group. We disclosed a new detail on Studio 18. We had some great feedback per usual. Then we tried a new segment with my middle son, Brooks, that we call "The Gen Z Boy" segment. It went mid at first but got very cheugy in the end... after that we did a name that tune segment that was completely rigged against me but I kept a humble attitude. We had a rather abrupt ending which will explain the last part of the title of this episode. Enjoy if you can!

Hershall, We were proud to hear your voice today on the trash-cast, though quiet it was... We called to bear the wonderful tidings of our new home, Studio 18. I had Bro. Brad & Bro. Dustin describe the scenes here in the vast complex that is Pod'N Me's new home. To hear them talk, it is something of beauty that we all feel proud (in the correct way) of. We even had a listener ("Anyone's Guess") send us some fan mail for the inaugural episode in 18 (that's what I type Studio 18 for short). The fan mail was something that was requested to open and try on air. It was a Jelly Bean game that had us all gagging and coughing.... We checked in with Dink Burbank to let him know that we were in a new studio as well. To top it all off, we had a "Whatcha Listenin' To?" segment that ended with finding out Bro Dustin's reaction to a smashed thumb... Enjoy if possible!

Hershall, a jammed, packed show is in store for you today. I decided to start off the show with a very moving account (otherwise known as a joke) about a newly wed friend of mine up north who's wife is fond of ailing fowls. We followed that by some feedback where so much happened that we even forgot we were in the middle of an email... Bro. Dustin was triggered when he though his family tree was going to be cut on and threatened Bro. Brad so much that I thought they would have to settle the dispute off air and maybe end with physical harm. Something was said about having Identical Grandmas and we had a segment of The Rich Man and Lazarus... Speaking of Rich Men, we found out where they are from and that that Songleader Brad was actually at that very location and picked up the most awful water for us to hydrate with in Studio 4. Dink brought the news and we finish with a discussion on Christian Bud-words.... Enjoy, if possible!

Hershall, I know by the title that you are saying, 'finally they are dealing with the topic of tithing!' And I am quite sure that most of your friends and family (aka cousins) that listen are waiting to hear the opinions that we have on the subject of tithing... Well, the episode took this turn as I was attempting to thank the audience for their continued support and the boys (Songleader Brad and Deacon Dustin) just took the subject and ran with it. It was virtually (see what I did there) out of my control. We also had some wonderful feedback wherewith (big word) such topics were discussed as: temple maintenance, Brad's marriage advice, setting a certain gender down in church (not endorsed by Pod'N Me), things not to try in a small town (vague cultural reference)... We ended with a rather serious discussion stemming from a "Whatcha Listening To" segment about asking God questions. Dink Burbank gave us the news and that is pretty much the long and short of it... Hershall, as you well know, we do our level best to accommodate the ministry of all sorts here on Pod'N Me. Well, if you look in the virtual vestibule of the virtual church today you'll see that there is a missions table set up with various items from a foreign country (**editor's mental note- what other kind of country is there?). Well, you will see as we go along here. The green room is occupied with a couple that have given the last years of their life to the service of the Lord as missionaries to Kenya, Africa. They left a review on Apple on our podcast page sharing how the laughter and light-hearted conversations that we have on here have been a source of strength to them both over the past year and some months. Rev. Jeremy and Sis. Bilita Sipe are here today to share the testimony of the miracle working power of God in their lives. You can certainly hear the true joy of the Lord in their voices as they share with us the testimony of God's great faithfulness during the most difficult of situations.

Hershall, This is an episode that you nor any other of the ilk (little word for like you) will want to miss. Thanks to our Soup-er Fan, Sis. Odie Boggs, for informing us that today is National Tell a Joke Day... So, we were all three enthralled (big word for fascinated) by the possibility of out joking the other. Many hilarities ensued (sophisticated sounding sentence). We also heard from Sis. Connie J. Smith of the Basement Bargains. We hit topics such as clan (your read right) chowde, Brad's confessions and Mardel's oil changes for life... We discussed the items recently viewed in a hospital gift shop. One big programing note was Dink Burbank was out today and Bro. Brad filled in for him... Bro. Dustin came after feminine prophets and I gave the strongest joke during the close of the episode. Hershall, We had a bit of a calamity (big word for sudden event that brings loss) when Dink Burbank, our trusted news correspondent was absent from his desk but we find out some great "news" in the process that actually involves your latest business venture. We also had a studio audience (my youngest son Bryce and Dustin's son Jaxon) and got a gift from one of them. As we seamlessly moved through the various topics of the day (duck walls, turkey floors, fanny packs, etc.), we somehow kept visiting the topic of fashion. During that discussion we found out that the Deacon would prefer to carry a purse over some other handier accessories. The Songleader and I made a vital correction to a previous mentioned detail about house slippers. I got a genuine laugh out of both brothers during my highly funny joke segment. We even heard from the long trusted  and beloved Sis. Connie during the Church Basement (or piano bench) Bargains! All in all it was a fairly enjoyable, non life-threatening show!

Hersh, it's been long overdue so we accomplished it today... Accomplished what, you say? Well, I am glad you asked, if you did. (Whether you did or not I'm going to type (tell) you) *editors note: I am not quite sure if I can put a parenthetical word inside of a parenthetical statement but it looks like I just did... I will delay to tell you no further, Trey Brock of the Brock Family was on the show telephonically (big word for via telephone). We opened with him singing a new song from their new album, Treasure. We also had a listener almost get evicted by her husband for listening to this virtual trash pile. Dink Burbank brought some hard hitting news and Deacon Dustin and Songleader Brad had a new routine that they did concerting braggers. We finished the day with a Tuning Tie.... Hershall, It was wonderful to check in with you at the beginning of the show today. We found out about your recent fan encounters along with Deacon Dustin being spotted by a fan on a jobsiite.  You certainly are a national treasure... And I mean that! Another treasure is the two men that are co-hosts along side your humble correspondent... Bro. Brad Cottrell and Bro. Dustin Wakley. They gave us an update about their lives that included sick animals and cereal preferences... all in all, it was going well til I had a slight mix up on mat cereal flavors and ACTUALLY gave a ringing endorsement to a tobacco product by mistake. Hershall, we're happy to bring you another fine episode today but this was all we had... er, I mean, we were able again to deliver. The show started with possibly a  resuscitation or recitation. I was accused of being one of the sons of Gath. We were asked to start a dating advice service. Bro. Brad suggested that my humor was fowl. A reviewer gave a square headed review and ended up having a serious conversation about having a hunger for God. A listener sent a recording of a previously mentioned singer on this podcast but slightly modified so we felt obligated to include it at the end of the episode... Enjoy!
