Hersh, you read it right, our very own Songleader had tried his hand at politics and now he is taking over as pastor here at Pod'N Me. (I'm quite sure he's not going to make it in the ministry but he gives it his best shot today. We had Bryce, my youngest son to here today to talk about who is the favorite child in this household as well as include some trivia for a beloved cow-dog in his life. Gen Z Boy was also here to do a very special Name That Tune segment in preparation for next week's big day.... St. Valentine is on his way. Brooks also got called out for his inability (big word for lack of ability) to read. I also reveal to the world that my wife and I are having some serious marriage issues over an old habit I have indulged in over the years. As you can read, some very serious things take place here today. Enjoy!

Hershall, you need not that I should write unto thee concerning the former portion of the title, because thou wast there. (previous string of words was KJV sounding) I am referring to your presence at the Minister's Conference that I attended last week and which you are a part of because your father implored (big word for beg) you to be. I have attended this particular conference on occasion but none was so much embarrassing for me as this year. I gave our audience the 'behind the scenes' of what went on with my great embarrassment. I also told of the many new listener encounters I had as well as one of your "holler Loretta" requests. We also had Gen Z Boy (my son, Brooks) on today for the full episode to give great insight and he even gave us the word of the week. We had a special appearance in studio 18 with Dink Burbank, our fearless news director and we even had an appearance from Sis. Connie Smith of the Church Basement Bargains and she told of their trip to the Minister's Conference. We ended with the train derailing completely at the possibility of what an Earwig is.... Enjoy!

Hersh, may I ask a question? Do you like it when a preacher gets up and asks for you to turn to your neighbor (the person to the left or right of you on the church -not your actual neighbor) and tell said person something that the preacher said to say? (If you're keeping track, I asked two questions) Well, we have a new way of approaching your neighbor/person beside you in church. After all, you tune in to this show every week to learn valuable stuff and we keep delivering. We talked about how the Songleader consumes Pringles and 9 other hard hitting facts. We have a new way to eat Bugles (not a sponsor or an instrument used by boys in past wars who in turn were used in a few sermon illustrations, but the food product) We had another word of the day and much much more. We even had some serious conversation about what we all have in common or maybe what we all lack in common... Enjoy!

Hershall, it's always good to be with you. Every week you show up and we try our best to do the same. Well, I don't really know how to describe what happened today. We did have an important update on Dink Burbank for those that are worried about his absence. We found out that Deacon Dustin has lived most of his spiritual life going from glen to glen and even to dales (words that dual as men's names and vales).... That realization came from a conversation we had about songs that used other song melodies. We also talked about the Deacon's beloved dog, Puppet. He has now joined a puppy support group that Songleader and President Brad renamed. As the title suggests, President Brad got renamed too... Your humble, virtual pastor was requested to start writing greeting cards. The Deacon brought some Bible for us and we ended up taking about some of the worst things we have ever ate/eaten/et.... Hershall, Happy New Year! Good to be back with you (in a virtual sense). We started off the program with a rather serious conversation and it was really time. We talked about how to deal with life's interruptions. We then moved to an update about Deacon Dustin's beloved dog, Puppet. She got a gift which we opened on air. While the Deacon was reading about the contents of the gift, he made a costly homeschooled mistake which we didn't let slide. President Brad appointed a new cabinet member and did a stellar job at reading the feedback from the last few weeks. We slowly rushed to the end of the show with a new segment that has much potential for the coming weeks called "Word of the Week." Oh yeah, and we had a "Watcha Listenin' To?" segment following the new segment at the end.... It sounds much more confusing than what it is or was... Enjoy!

Hersh, here I come a wrotin' (big word meaning the past tense of writing cause when you read this I will have already wrote -or typed- this) to you, again. I act like you don't know a thing that went on here today and you know the majority of what went on because you were present for the fun. When I say fun, I mean fun. We heard a story in the beginning from the boys (title used for the song leader and deacon combined that has somewhat become a term of endearment which is another big word) about their struggles in being spiritual superior (bw) in every way to me, their humble pastor. After all of that superfluity (big word meaning something unnecessary), we were able to continue the post- Christmas blues. We had another wonderful installment of the Church Basement Bargains where Sis. Connie announced their upcoming watch night service. We followed up the show with a final word from the now world acclaimed quartet of voices, Hersh & the Chips. Hersh, we can let the secret out now. Loretta is a stellar (big word for star or outstanding) singer. She made her debut with The Chips in an unprecedented (big word sounding like a country without a leader but meaning unmatched) level of sheer (another big word that I really don't know but thought it fit in the sentence) talent. Speaking of podcasts without true leadership, Songleader Brad (vague reference to the new Pod'N Me president) just about gets ousted (I mean really... how many big words and phrases can a guy use in one description... come on now) as the favorite voice on the famed Chips installment. There were many other festive things done today including a lengthy discussion about toys toward the end of the program and the Deacon read one of his favorite Christmas passages in a very difficult to understand but actual translation of the Bible. Finally as the title suggests, we heard from the very popular with a few, members of Church Basement Bargains. This time Sis. Connie J. Smith calls in to make a Christmas announcement preceded (big word) by some deathly depressing talk between her and Elder Ronnie.  Whew, Hersh, I'm tired of thinking of big words so suffice it to keyboardly communicate this tiding from all of us at Pod'N Me, Merry Christmas!

Hershall, Whew (big word for exasperated sound), what a day! You were here so I don't have to share anything with you but for the sake of the crowd gathered here I'll give a brief description. We started off strong with a return from the very popular Christmas singing group, Hershall & The Chips! They will be with us throughout the rest of the month. Then, we made history by having your youngest offspring, Emma Ingram (affectionately known as The Emma-Fluencer)on the program to talk about a few things. She told of a childhood pet that had some abnormalities and also included some information about some favoritism that may still be going on in the household. She is going to be in charge of all the music this month and does she ever know her Christmas tunes. Typing of tunes, she arranged for a Name that Tune segment that ended in complete unexpected victory for the least prepared one of us.... We had some great conversation about our favorite childhood toys. Dink brought the news... well, just listen because there's way too much to tell here! Merry Christmas!

Hershall, the Pod'N Me Christmas festivities are in full swing here! We look forward to the month and started off with a proverbial bang! It didn't take long for our Beloved Deacon to offend a couple of groups of Pod'N Me constituents. We had a conversation bout when and how Christmas decor is legal to be put up. Hersh, the boys seem to be in a very festive mood this year.  Deacon Dustin told us about a trick that he uses to light his tree and also get around the well known Old Testament scripture concerning Christmas trees. We talked telephonically (big word for on the phone) to a fan of the show and tried to turn it in to an intervention of sorts. Dink Burbank did a live broadcast from a Christmas parade. We ended with some very good Christmas trivia that included guessing the highest selling toys by volume from the year we were born. Enjoy! (if possible)
