Hershall, today we had two very special guests on Pod'N Me. It's always an honor to hear the perspective of the ministry from a preacher's kid. This time one of those was your very own daughter Bryanna and her close friend Alivya Isaacs. Alivya's father was a guest on this podcast back in January on episode 86. Both ladies offers their idea of what the perfect evangelist would be and all along the way they gave some harrowing tales of their many experiences as PK's. We also found out that Alivya has some close friends that are fans of Pod'N Me. To sum (little word meaning give a brief summary) it all up, Bryanna made a statement that became a favorite quote... "Your arm is not an involuntary muscle!"

Hershall, We did it again... we had a repeat guest and he did great.... Great Britton is whom I type of! I talked my two eldest offspring (big word meaning children) into being guests on Pod'N Me. The first one is my first born, Britton D. Birdsong. He is a fine young man of who I am very proud. Heshall, today it happened... one our feed-backers finally gave this show the description that says it best... hence (big word meaning consequently) the title: "Dearest Men of This Thing." Hershall, you'll have to cut us some slack today, we were tired.... That doesn't mean that we didn't do our very best or that you were short-changed (compound word meaning treated unfairly) in any way. We still were somehow able to fulfill our great obligation to the friends and/or foes of Pod'N Me. I way say (or type) that we did change the format quite a bit by starting out with a song and going directly into the message so to speak (or type). It got serious while we talked about the simplicity of praying for forgiveness. We then moved to some feedback and heard from our very own Dink Burbank over that the Pod'N Me News desk. We continued from there with more feedback, and another installment of Church Basement Bargains and I ended with one of the saddest stories that involved little children falling, lawn mowers, and a large example of gluttony... well, stay tuned til the end. Hello Hershall, we had a wonderful time today talking all things youth-camp (two words meaning work). We checked in, via the telephonic (big sounding word) device, with a long time friend and one time fill-in of Pod'N Me, youth pastor Matthew Wilson. We talked about how much he would like to be a star... I mean part of the show and also managed to discuss some youth camp stuff. We heard from the news desk of anchor Dink Burbank. He has been a popular addition to Pod'N Me. We talked seamlessly about many other things in the feedback segment. In a wonderful touch, we added a "swap shop" style segment  call "Church Basement Bargains." I think Loretta would love to have some items on the program. We ended the episode today by discussing how that in the Lord's work things are less about an individual person and more about God's good people that He loves.... Hershall, what a privilege it was to have you and your dad, Rev. Don Ingram on the final day of campmeeting. It has been a great year already and this is the icing on the cake. Rev. Ingram was on edge because he was afraid of what we might pull in Studio 4 but we were nice (mostly). As the interviewed, I had done some extensive research on my guest and used some info he wasn't expecting. Bro. Ingram told us of missionary trips he has taken and the close friendship with a theologian of sorts. He ended by telling us about the importance of promoting unity in the church. I'm so glad that he agreed (reluctantly) to come on Pod’N Me. For the record, after recording the episode, he said we were nice to him and much better than he was expecting. Hershall and I have a history of giving Bro. Ingram a tough way to go! God bless!
