Hershall, today we had a little different format on the program. We gave a teaser in the intro to what is going to happen in today's episode. The next thing we knew, the Deacon was setting us (the Songleader and Your Humble Poderator) straight because he's still offended for The Shedman for his poor treatment on last week's episode about festive decorations.... Speaking of décor, (shorter big word for decorations) I threw out the bait a long way and caught the boys and took several minutes to reel them right into to a joke that I've had in my notes for many months. It was one of my proudest moments yet on this church cast! The Deacon's original offense was a lead up to what we ended with today... a conversation about second hand offenses. Hershall, as we promised earlier, we got to sit down and hear the personal  testimony of Rev. Philip Webb. He is a man that has had a rather unique experience. He is the third generation in pastoral ministry and has had the privilege of pastoring, in his early ministry,  the church where his maternal grandfather pastored. He also currently is pastoring the church where is paternal grandfather pastored. He is a fine man with wonderful advice for all of us in the ministry. Hersh, as you can see in the title, we spake today in the rabbit trail portion of the show about how some folks get their names abbreviated (big word meaning shortened) and henceforth (a powerful big important sounding word) the reason why I addressed you as Hersh instead of Hershall. Hershall, the episode went off flawlessly (muchly without flaws) in some regards... My speech was not with enticing words, because I was having trouble speaking and the Deacon & Songleader called me out! We ended today by talking about the how we as a world are once again consuming everything we can from the tree of knowledge. We know how that worked out for the first humans yet we think we can somehow escape their fate.  The goal is to know and try to understand God. Hershall, today we have a very gifted guest on the podcast. Pastor Donnie King is who I'm talking about... I know you thought it was the humble host that I was referring to...  it was Rev. King. We recently met through a mutual friend and I have already gained such great respect for his knowledge in the Word of God. He talks to me today about the Bible as being a Marriage Covenant between God and mankind and he uses the Jewish wedding customs to prove his point. It was truly a great conversation. He even told us some things about the Old Testament prophet, Jonah, that are very interesting. I hope that the Word of God and his Love for all of us is opened up to everyone who listens today!

How bout that, Hershall? I put the biggest word possibly that we've ever used in the title! (as well as the description of the second word.... speaking of the second word, the first word was used two times in this EPISODE. Yep, you heard (or technically read) what I said (or technically typed), it was used twice, as in 1 less that thrice (KJV word meaning 3). You likely think that I used it as some of my fancy jargon (a word meaning nothing like it sounds like it SHOULD mean), but it was actually used by 2 different reviewers- aka Hershi! Whew, I'm already tired of typing about it, so I'll just say this... we ended up talking about a portion of Acts 27 so give it all a listen if you'd like.
