  • 7. Let The Vulva Do The Vetting!: How Arousal Enhances Your Ability to Manifest Your Desires

Are you connected with your sexual self?

The idea for this week's episode came about as I am struggling with a crisis of identity of sorts. Lately, my thoughts have been preoccupied with questions like: "What do I want more of in my life?" "What type of content am I looking for, what speaks to me?" "How do I want to feel?"

I realized that my rational brain and my feeling brain are on totally parallel tracks, which has completely cut me off from my intuition.

In an effort to restore the connection between the two, I realized that this is not the only link that's been severed--the connection to my potent sexual energy has been disrupted, too.

In this episode, we explore the energy of arousal and how it is a pathway to feel how you want to feel and achieve what you want to achieve.

When we're turned on, we're tuned in and we can't HELP but manifest whatever we desire!

  • 6. The facts and myths about the female libido

Phew, this episode is juicy (pun intended)!!!

The female libido is very misunderstood. What you see and hear on tv, social media, etc. does not paint a realistic picture of the average woman’s sexual desire and actually sets us up to think there’s something wrong with us if we DON'T have a WAP.

In this episode, we dig into how the menstrual cycle is a road map for understanding the intricacies of female sexual desire, and how you can leverage the wisdom of your menstrual cycle to ramp up your sexual desire if your libido is lacking.

  • 5. How to use your menstrual cycle to level up your relationship

There are countless benefits to getting intimate with your menstrual cycle, not least of which is the ways doing so can improve your relationship.

In this week's episode, we're chatting about three ways the knowledge of your cycle can help you level up your relationship:

    1. Improve communication;

    2. Enhance fertility awareness to help a couple either avoid pregnancy or improve the likelihood of conception; and

    3. Elevate sexual compatibility and satisfaction

  • 4. You're not crazy, you're cyclical!

If you're anything like most people who menstruate, you know when your period's coming because there are some tell-tale signs: irritability, moodiness, fatigue, bloating, that unmistakable feeling like you're not yourself...sound familiar?!

If it does, you're not alone and you're NOT crazy! In this week's episode, we tackle PMS--what it is, what causes it, and most importantly why understanding your cycle and what's happening from a physiological standpoint can help you feel more mentally and emotionally empowered around that time of the month.

Horrible PMS is not inevitable, and by leaning into our cycle and learning to work with it can finally give us the permission we've been seeking to slow down, rest, and recharge during this time, just as nature intended.

  • 3. Periods need better PR

In this week's episode, we're talking about how to make periods and the menstrual cycle sexy so people actually pay attention.

Despite the recent surge of menstrual care products into the marketplace and people starting to talk more openly about menstruation, for the most part it's falling on deaf ears. We're on a mission to change that because these conversations matter and more people need to hear it...

...but how do we get them on board? We make periods more appealing so more people naturally start listening up. We do this by showing people the undeniable benefits of getting to know their period and menstrual cycle.

  • 2. Period Education IS Sex Education

Welcome back to Point Blank Period! In today's episode, Hilary talks about what she wish she learned about periods and the menstrual cycle in sex ed, and how this lack of information and unwillingness to have these conversations is doing young women a huge disservice.

We talk about what a period is and how it fits into the "precisely choreographed series of events" that is the menstrual cycle as a whole, and how despite its immense value, this knowledge is anything but common because to acknowledge our biological differences would mean admitting that we can't do it all...

    ...or would it?

    Listen up and find out!
