Poland has been remarkably successful. At the same time, the country remains internally divided—between liberals and conservatives, between cities and the countryside. We discussed all of this with Jadwiga Emilewicz, who, as Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, played a key role in driving these reforms.
