Follow @TrueCrimeWeb Sunday, July 21, 2025, marked the three-year anniversary since the body of Timmy Dees was found in Madison County.His mother Barbara Hall continues to keep his memory alive and fight for the justice she says her son and others deserve.Sheâs experienced every motherâs worst nightmare and sheâs talking about it with whoever will listen.Just 8 months after she lost her first son, she learned her second son was now missing. She recalls what she was feeling the day she made a missing personâs report on Timmy. âI went to church that Tuesday, and I came home from church, and I got deathly sick. I mean I was deathly sick because he wasnât answering my phone calls and he wasnât answering my texts and that wasnât like him. After Micheal had died, I talked to Timmy daily. So, for me not to have heard from himâŚ. idk I got sick Iâm not kidding you, I got sick, and I thought âsomethingâs wrong.â Sadly, Hall was right. Something was wrong, and Hall would never see 25-year-old Timmy Dees again.She filed a missing personâs report on February 28, 2021 with the Jefferson County Sheriffâs Office. She then made signs, posters, and handed out flyers to whoever would listen.Hall learned that Timmy had made a 911 call that stated, âMy friend is chasing me,â the night of his disappearance.
