Aubrey converses with Prof. William Gumede, professor of practice, School of Governance, University of the Witwatersrand and author of Restless Nation: Making Sense of Troubled Times (Tafelberg), about how Setas have failed to provide the skills needed by the economy. He suggests that Setas should either be closed down or handed over to business to manage, citing their ineffectiveness, mismanagement, corruption and cadre- appointment as part of why majority of them have not been to produce jobseekers with skills that are required to grow our economy.
