Pop Apologists

The Pop Apologists reunite after four long years to relaunch the podcast that they frantically deleted in 2016 after Deb (Lauren & Chan’s mom) found out about it. Fast forward to 2020 and the gals, finally paying for their own cell phone bills and lives, reunite to bring back the pod, unafraid of their T-Mobile plans being cancelled as retribution for bringing back the pod their mom calls “absolutely so embarrassing for our family.” Lauren shares how in the past four years she has risen from unemployed poet to illustrious business success as an esteemed executive assistant, only to be laid off due to COVID. Chan shares how life has brought her to sunny Los Angeles, CA, and that – unlike Lauren – she is not only fully employed but also being recruited by Big Tech. Meggan discusses her move from Provo, UT to the decidedly more urbane, liberal, and cool Salt Lake City. Tune in to hear her discuss how life is going working for an event production company during a global pandemic. 🤪 Updates aside, the gals gab about celeb & reality tv gossip of the week: - Kristin Cavallari escaping to a “deserted island” aka the Bahamas. - Pink, Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson contracting Covid - Morgan Stewart dating Dr. Phil’s son - Who would you rather, Chris or Andrew Cuomo? - Vanderpump Rules: Will Stassi & Beaux make it? - Kim Kardashian’s evolving hairstyles
