Cameron & Jonathan share a couple beers with Scott & Nick from Raised Grain Brewing Company in Waukesha, WI.
This episode should be considered Pour Another Round and Another Round and Another Round. Raised Grain provided flights to sample a plethora of their beer inventory.
But as we learned from a real doctor today, beer is healthy. He mentioned something about moderation, but whatever... We may suffer from selective hearing sometimes.

Cameron & Jonathan share a couple beers with Missy & Jon from Copper State Brewing Company in Green Bay, WI.
This is not only our tenth brewery featured on Pour Another Round, but also our first in-person conversation actually atthe brewery.
Missy & Jon share their backwards entry into the world of brewing.
Jon nerds out on beer and bacteria a bit.
We were hoping the ghost who hangs out in Copper State’s building would pop into the episode to say hi, but we just heard about the beer named after him. C'mon Gary!

Cameron & Jonathan share a couple whiskeys with Timmy from Sean's Bar in Athlone, Ireland.
Sean's Bar is the not only the oldest bar in Ireland, but also in the entire world, dating back to 900 A.D. Timmy has been a bartender at Sean's for nearly four decades - really just a blip in the history of the pub. But regardless, both Sean and Timmy have plenty of great stories.
You'll then take a virtual tour around Ireland as Cameron & Jonathan reminisce on each of their Irish trips - plenty of Jameson, Guinness, and good times!
We'd love to pour many rounds with each of you to celebrate our favorite drinking holiday (actually, they all are!), but as well all know, we unfortunately cannot. So Pour Another Round with us via this episode; we look forward to drinking with you all soon!
Sláinte!

Cameron & Jonathan share a couple beers with Ryan & Clint from Working Draft Beer Company in Madison, WI.
Working Draft fully believes craft beer forms community. Before the world was thirsty for camaraderie, beer was often a positive force to gather together. Ryan & Clint are eagerly waiting the day their taproom will be that community gathering space over their beer.
Ryan has a background in writing, specifically poetry. There’s a quote that “a poem is never finished, just abandoned.” This is a similar approach they take to brewing. Clint approaches his brewing as the artful application of science. And part of that art is that each beer is a working draft, a process in progress. The beer pun in “draft” helps too.

Cameron & Jonathan share a couple beers with Andy from Third Space Brewing in Milwaukee, WI.
Everyone has their home. Everyone has their work. And Andy thinks everyone should also have their third space. He’s hoping Third Space Brewing is a viable option for you.
Brewery founders, Andy and Kevin, met at a summer camp as kids, which they considered to be their childhood third space. Many years later, one became a lawyer and the other became a brewer. Even more years later, they both saw an opportunity for growth in the beer industry in the Brew City of Milwaukee, WI. Combine forces and you now have Third Space Brewing.
Andy talks about Third Space’s obsession with quality and balance in beers. He attributes this to Third Space Brewing being named one of the 50 Fastest Growing Breweries in the United States!

Cameron & Jonathan have a couple beers with Gunnar from Rio Lobo Winery & Brewery in Weyauwega, WI. That’s wolf river in Spanish. And in case it’s not obvious, the Wolf River is a real river that runs through Wisconsin.
This was actually the first episode we recorded with the newest brewery we’ve talked with thus far. Special shout out to Gunnar and Rio Lobo for being our guinea pigs in this whole podcasting thing!
Gunnar shares Rio Lobo’s passion for growing as much as they can for their operation. They have their own vineyard for the wine grapes. They grow their own wheat and six different hop varieties for brewing. They will soon be offering wood fired pizza in the taproom for which they grow their own tomatoes. Even the sausage toppings will come from the beef and pork they’re raising on the farm.

Cameron & Jonathan are joined by Ben from Appleton Beer Factory over a couple beers.
Ben walks us through approximately 25,000 man hours of work over three years to turn a 1940s auto shop into the functional brewery that it is today.
With no formal training, but a learn as you go, Ben considers what he does professional homebrewing. If he doesn't consider himself a professional brewer, it sounds like he's at least close to going pro in beer-drinking!
In true brewery evangelism, tell your friends about your favorite craft beer and convince them to try it with you, especially if its Appleton Beer Factory. If for no other reason than trying a beer because of its name, Juicy McJuice Face will suffice. This nod to the UK's Royal Navy's attempt at a publicly named beer is a laughable, yet lovable beer!

Cameron & Jonathan have a couple beers with a brewery from Waunakee, Wisconsin - the only Waunakee in the world. At least, that’s what it boasts on the community welcome sign. We’ll take their word for it.
Kevin from The Lone Girl Brewing Company gives us a little insider info that playing mixologist with some of their beers can produce a great outcome.
Cameron doesn’t always think before asking a question or spewing off a cheeky comment. Luckily in this episode, he realized the origin of the brewery name before making one of those speak-before-you-think remarks about the logo.
Kevin tells us the story about the first time he hung out with Lone Girl’s now brewer - then home brewer - and he brought his own beer to a home brew party. He had tried enough bad beer and he wasn’t in the mood for more. As you can probably guess, though, Kevin was pleasantly surprised with that homebrewer so much so he was hired on as Lone Girl’s brewmaster!
