  • Motivational Nuggets to Love By Episode 5: Love Thy Neighbor As Thy Self

Have you ever found it challenging to love some people?  Me too.  Loving someone is a choice that doesn't always come with ease.  It could be differing opinions, negative energy or their presence. Sometimes we have to dig deep to tap into the reasoning behind why love can be a challenge.  I've learned that triggers and unhealed wounds teach me a lot about my relationships and my capacity to love.  In all honesty, loving someone comes easy for me now a days, its the liking that's shifting.  I'm learning that I can love a person and not like their ways and I can love them fully as they choose to be from a distance, if necessary.
Loving thy neighbor as thy self doesn't require you to lose you in unhealthy behavior. This action should fill your cup, not deplete it for love is a beautiful gift that everyone is worthy of.

  • Motivational Nuggets to Love By Episode 4 Love and Loss: The Journey of Many Miscarriages

This week I talk about a topic that’s easy and challenging, love and loss. The ease comes from therapy and the challenge comes from the bruises I received on the way.  In this episode, I speak specifically about my fertility challenges and multiple miscarriages over the last ten years.  I must admit, this is a tender topic for many so seek your heart to discover if you’re ready to tap into that space. I decided to share this part of my life’s journey with you all because I know I’m not alone and often times our feelings of inadequacy, guilt, anger, frustration, depression, etc cloud our minds and make us forget that we are complete beings right now.

I hope this episode helps you send love and joy to those with a desire to be parents and assists you in being "swift to listen and slow to speak" when you know a person or meet someone who’s journey you assume should be on your ideal path.  Silent prayers are the best.

    * I’d like to give a heavenly thank you to my high school teacher Mr. Spud Morgan for his words of wisdom. They live on in many of the lives he touched.
