You are perfectly imperfect. There is only one You in this world.  People may say you remind them of someone or that you look like somebody they met before or that all women or men are just alike but you and I both know that at the core, we all bring and contribute different things to this world. 

One of my college professors would continuously say “ Always remember you are enough.”  In my twenties, that didn’t settle in my spirit like it does now. Time and life’s lessons have shown me that I am and you are enough,  just as we are today.

I hope this episode reminds you to love you now….through the process and on your journey to better.

Life has its days, both good and bad, easy and challenging. Through them all, I've found it most productive when I support my dreams and get to the doing.  I'm a doer and the only thing that can stop me is me.  That often happens when I get in my head and forget to be my own #1 fan.

One day, if you haven't already, you may come in contact with a person who dumps their mess on your front door - intentionally and unintentionally.  Remember that their mess is not yours to carry....and if you're the dumper?  Stop it now.

I hope this episode shifts your language and self talk to something that can motivate you to tell yourself what you can do and not what you can't.

Illeana is a woman who's light shines bright.  Her talents exceed expectation and her ability to adjust her focus and hone in on her strengths is one to be admired.  Ileana is a person who's all about the moments in the life. The ones you can't get back, the most precious, those we lean into when life hands us lemons.  She's a dreamer and an achiever who trusts God's time for all things.
I hope this episode reminds you to be flexible in your "how" and trust  when you're "when's" timing  shifts.  I do believe we can have our hearts desires if we're honest with ourselves when our  heart's desires  shift.

This year will be what you want it to be so I challenge you to be specific in your request and intentional with your actions.  Name it, claim it and do the work to receive it.  I learned last year that my specificity dictated my outcome.  My actions pushed me closer and my gratitude made every step easier.  Let's get it ya'll!   Life is as sweet as we allow it to be.   Throw out all of the rotten apples, or at least cut around those parts.  You dictate your emotions.   Allow yourself to shift when necessary and keep it moving.  Go get your blessing and everything attached to your name.   Say yes and get to doing.  I love you.  We've got this.                           Happy New You!!

Jealousy sucks and it shows up at the most disrespectful times! I know what it feels like to want something someone else has. To wonder when is it going to be my turn or why not me? 

I’ve often wondered what purpose jealousy serves and I’ve learned that it serves as a reminder of our own gifts, talents and God’s timing. Sometimes we allow the world, social media, friends, family and strangers to dictate what success means to us and the time we desire to achieve it. The truth is everyone has their own path and blessings attached to their name.  Iyanla Vanzant once said “Comparison is an act of violence against one’s self.”  It can be a thief of joy.  

Whenever you find yourself looking out and wondering why not me, look in and count your blessings. Start praising the Lord for what’s to come because yours is right around the bend.
