The beauty of today is found in your availability to be present in the now. Each passing day carries importance, life lessons and living. Some of us are waiting for time to match our desires and others are out there dancing in the rain. Which are you? Are you waiting or creating? Living fearfully from one moment to the next or seizing every blessed day? The Lord didn't give us a spirit of fear, nor did he say to procrastinate your way through life. He paid the price so we can live fully, so what's stopping you?
Get out of your own way and do it now!
Healing is a journey. When we heal, all people attached to us reap the benefits too. We all have different experiences, events, or situations that motivate the process. The why is just as important as our end goal because we may need to revisit it for focus and intention.
In this episode, we are reintroduced to Tudy aka Coach Tudes who's a health and fitness coach. We first met Tudy in episode 11 entitled From an Imperfect Perfection's POV. Our second time around is filled with candid and motivating honesty when it comes to her health journey, conquering depression, sugar cravings, unlearning harmful family norms, and self-worth.
I hope this interview provokes you to ask yourself the question Coach Tudes poses, "Are you investing in your living, or are you investing in your death?" And if it's the latter, all you need is a powerful shift.

Our bodies are extraordinary! They are powerful, complete, and sufficient. They respond to us....how we feed them, treat them, and speak to them. Our bodies give us what we ask for. Our self-talk dictates its response... so what are you feeding yourself?
I've noticed that my body follows my words. It doesn't judge, it just does. It shows up for me in whatever ways I request, be it negative or positive so I've decided to shift my words. I now speak about what will best serve me. My words are the entry to everything I want and desire and they remind me that life is beautiful, joy is a choice and everything is already alright.
After you were created, the mold was broken. That means there is only one you. How special, how specific and sincere. Your personality, your quirks and your bumps and bruises are intended to highlight your authenticity. Unfortunately, we often work hard to hide our differences rather than embrace and celebrate them.
Stop that today.
We mustn't forget that our beauty lies in our authenticity and our ability to relate to others powerfully manifests itself in our vulnerability. So the next time you belittle your power, remember to recharge and stand tall. The essence of who you are shines the brightest when you are unapologetically you.
Life is precious and a present. Each day, we have an opportunity to live to the fullest and count it all joy.
In the episode, I challenge you to re-examine your cup. Is it half full or half empty? Are you walking in your gift and your purpose? If not, take a moment to stop and appreciate the fact that you woke up this morning. Time waits for no one. Go seize the day.
I love when I meet a person who's comfortable in their own skin, a cheerleader for others and open to give and receive. This jewel of a human reminded me that a first impression will always carry weight and that kindness will never go out of style.
My next guest is regal and resilient , thoughtful and thorough. She's Commissioner Sheila Barlow of Tipton County.
In this episode, Ms. Barlow shares her journey of triumph through a career change, the loss of her beloved and the conquering of her life's challenges. The consistency of her joy is inspiring.

Forgiveness can be a challenging gift to give and receive. When you've been wronged, it can be hard to forgive them for causing you anguish and pain. Sometimes it's even harder to forgive ourselves. One thing I'v learned is the sooner I get to forgiveness, the sooner I get back to my joy and my peace.
When we ask for forgiveness with a sincere heart, the Lord is on the job sooner than our eyes can blink so why do we linger in guilt and shame when it comes to forgiving ourselves?
Meet Pamela D. Marshall. She's an author who's written a book titled "The Art of Forgiveness- An Expression of Peace." In this episode Pamela walks us through her journey of forgiveness and how we can apply her life's lessons to our lives.

*Trigger warning: This episode contains triggering an or sensitive information about eating disorders. If needed, there are resources below.
Sometimes comfort trumps change and comfort doesn't have to be comfortable, just common. Something about that situation has to benefit us even if it's detrimental to our claimed desire for improvement or success.
We can die with our most harmful traits or choices because change can be hard to come by without clear intentions. A lack of clarity can leave us stuck and unaware of why we're stuck.
Our why that motivates the change has to be powerful enough to lift the fear, to elevate love and release the familiar.
In this episode, I share how the benefits of my eating disorder kept me comfortable and in common surroundings ....until my why was powerful enough to make me cry so I could do the work and change my outcome. So what's your why that will make you cry?

Every once in a while, we come into contact with a person who leaves a lasting impact on our soul. It could be their authenticity, vulnerability, kindness or even the glow of God that gently shines bright. That's exactly the memorable imprint my next guest left with me.
Meet Anich. She's an artist who loves to bare her soul through her writing. I met Anich close to ten years ago and she's always been a person who's journey motivated me when mine felt stagnant.
In this episode, Anich shares her journey to finding her passion, the importance of revealing the good and bad days, and the gift that feeling the fear and doing it anyway can bring.

Every once in a while you are blessed to come across a person who's outlook on life challenges yours. I'm a glass half full kind of girl but sometimes when it rains, I sit in it. At times, I'm even cool with a mud bath!
My next guest agrees that rain can be challenging but also necessary. Meet Brantley. He's the self proclaimed King of off key singing, a deaf comedian, business owner and a friend to many.
In this episode, Brantley reminds us that we're too blessed to not be grateful because sometimes you have to understand that it has to rain for testimonies, growth, and cleansing follow.
I hope this episode reminds you to dance and/or laugh through the next thunderstorm and count it all joy.
