This episode is less for people who don’t really have a business and are just getting started, but more for people who already have a business and are trying to re-navigate where you want to go with it because you’re having more children. We discuss the idea of delegation, which is assigning tasks to someone else so that you don’t have to do them yourself and therefore can have more time. The Pareto principle, or 80/20 rule, states that 80% of our results are coming from only 20% of our efforts, so if we’re able to pinpoint which efforts are providing the most value, we can stop focusing on the less important efforts and thus provide ourselves with more time. Another great question to ask yourself as a business owner is, can you make your business more profitable with less sales? “I am telling you, productive people have no problem helping when it’s productive.” 36:11
