Christ has risen! If I live to be 100, I'll never tire of the good news that Jesus conquered sin and death through His own death and resurrection! And because He lives, we also live as victorious conquerers through Him who loved us, and gave His life for us. If you feel far from God, unworthy of His love, without Hope, or numb to the gospel, you can take comfort in the reminders in today's episodes. Jesus sacrificed everything, giving up heaven for a time to walk the earth, then suffered and died on the cross for your sins. Allow this scripture to remind your heart of the breadth of His sacrifice, and spur you into selfless service to those around you as well, in reflection of the freedom He has given you.

Wherever you are today, with your burdens, your fears, and your past, and the weight of it all, Jesus is waiting, offering hope in exchange for your baggage. No matter what you are afraid of bearing to the Lord, what vulnerability whispers doubts into your ear, Jesus lived and died, to bring you close and to meet you right where you are, in spite of what you carry. There is no shame in His presence, only hope.
