  • The Power Of Prayer
Prayer is one of the most powerful weapons God has given us. And today more than ever it is important that we get on our knees and develop a prayer life. It has been said that many individuals especially Christians do not know how to pray. It is also not alway easy to pray especially when one is going through a storm.
Prayer is powerful and it should not be underestimated. James 5:16-18 declares , "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective," God most definately listens to our prayers. He answers prayers and move in response to prayers. This is how we communicate with God. However, the problem is many individuals present their request to God and the response could be yes, no, or wait. However it appears that when such happens and the response is not what the person wants to hear or receive such has caused many indiviudals to become angry at God as well as doubt the power of prayer. Philippians 4:6-7 declares do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your request be made know to God.
There are benefits to having a prayer life. It has also been proven that prayer works and have a positive psysiological effect. There are different types of prayer. Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we discuss the power of prayer. And if you are in need of prayer give us a call 516 387-1914 live 5/28/19 at 11:30am Pacific. No Prayer No Power. There were also many programs and activities for children, youth as well as adults. Today individuals now have many selections as it relates to where they want to fellowship. This often takes individuals away from their neighborhood church. Not to mentions that there are several churches in some neighborhoods. You can find one across the street from another.Question is now what is going on with the church and community outreach? Join Pastor Daniel Estell an I as we discuss this topic. Outreach is needed as well as the participation and understanding of both the church, its members and the community. Live 5/21/19 at 11:30am Pacific. To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914.

  • Where Is The Respect?
As a Believer, I have lived long enough to know that the word respect has a different meaning to individuals. At one time I believed that such was a universal word however based on what is going on in our world today such appears to have taken on its own meaning. As a child, many individuals were taught to respect others by their parents. Then one would enter the educational system only to continue to enhance their meaning of respect yet the experience received varied. And if one was raised in the church one was taught about respect much differently from others. However with what is occuring in the world and in the church it can be scary when one see such disrespect occuring even as one disrespect themselves as well as the Word of God.
Last week Pastor Daniel Estell and I talked about Parenting Adult Children and what was frequently mentioned was the word respect. Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we provide additional information as we share how such can be implimented. Attitude, belief and one's life experience can shape how one view oneself and the world around them however does that give one permisssion to disrespect another? Let's talk about it. Live 4/30/19 at 11:30am Pacific. To Join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914.
