  • Intimacy As A Christian
As as Believer what is your perception of love, sex, marriage and intimacy? Many individuals have different views when it comes to this topic. I have found that for some our parents either were afraid to talk about this matter. Or in my case they tried to put the fear of God in their children by providing false information. My mother had three daughters and being the oldest I believed that she was going to have me spaded. It was not until I visited Petco as an adult I learned differently. And talking to peers, older siblings and other relatives for some also also ended with unhealthy results.
When it comes to enhancing ones understanding about God's design for sex or intimacy many have found that their curiosity  got them in trouble. What does the bible say about love, sex, itimacy, marriage and being a Christian? Join Mavis McKnight a pastor's wife, sex coach, Clinical Sexologist, Certified Life Coach, Published author and the CEO of Intimate Connections as she shares with Christian Wives as well as husbands how to enrich their sexual relationship. She will provide information as to how to become creative, and bring more fun and excitement to their initmate lives. Live 4/16/19 at 11:30am Pacific. • Sexual Assault Awareness 2019
April is sexual assault awareness month. Many may not be aware however the month of April was chosen as a time to educate, prevent and bring awareness to the violence against women. That does not mean that a male can not be sexually assaulted. Sexual violence is any sexual violence or sexual activity where consent is not freely given. Sexual violence affects millions of people each year in the United States. More than 1 in 3 women and nearly 1 in 4 men have  experience sexual violence involving physical contact at some point in their lives. Nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 38 men have experienced, came close or attempted to have been rape in their lifetimes.
Every 98 seconds someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted. Over half of these people are between the ages of 18 and 34. Sexual assault, harassment, and abuse are preventable. During Sexual Assault Awareness Month, learn how asking for consent can put an end sexual violence. No means No. Join others and myself as ws discuss this topic to end sexual assaults and provide resources for those that have been sexually assaulted. • Gods Will
When it comes to the will of God many question, "Why did God let this happen?" God's will is often questioned. God's Plans may not always be our plan. I have often said that God has a sense of humor. Yet sometimes  it really is not funny. However God's Will will be done. This morning join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we talk about God's Will live 4/9/19 at 11:30am Pacific. To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914.

  • Aging Gracefully
The quote, "Age is not noting but a number use to be many individuals theme song." However is that really true? Or what happens when one hits football numbers? I can recall as a child saying, " I can't wait to get grown." Not realizing that I would be grown much longer than I was going to be a child. And as I recently celebrated a birthday while in the 50 Club I am now reflecting on my mother telling me, "Keep living." Question is how can one do such and age gracefully?
Both men and women can struggle with this process. Many use to say that men would go through a mid life crisis. While women became cogars. Then comes the aging process. Some individuals are living much longer than others yet we are still witnessing individuals die at a very young age.
Join myself as well as others as we talk about the aging process. We all should age gracefully. Yet many are living lives that are unbalanced and it can take it toll on ones health. To join the conversation call 516 387-1914. Live 4/8/19 at 12:00pm Pacific.

  • The Power Of Prayer
When an individual say that they are praying for you or that you are in their prayers what does that really mean? I have heard it be said that one must also pray for themself as God can also hear their prayers. Which brings me to the topic as it relates to the power of prayer. This power should not be underestimated however it is often misunderstood. Today a person told me that many individuals use prayer like a wish list. James 5:16-18 states ,"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." What happens when a woman pray? I have personally witnessed and have heard of mothers pray like crazy for their children or marriage. Social media is also flooded with information regarding prayer or individuals praying for the sick, or those going through. God most definiely listens to prayers, answer prayers, and moves in response to prayer.
This brings me to question how is your prayer life? Do you know how to pray. This is can be a struggle for both believers as well as non believers. If you want to improve your prayer life or have questions as to how to communicate with God you do not want to miss this show. And if you want to share how God heard your prayer let's talk about it. There is power in prayer. Live 4/2/19 at 11:30am Pacific. To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914. You can also listen to the show by clicking on the link.

  • Missing But Not Forgotten
Recently my daughter brought something to my attention. I recall going into Walmarts and seeing pictures of lost and missing children. I also remember when they started the Amber Alert System. However when my daughter shared with me that there are 64,000 missing Black Women and Girls in the United States and no one seems to care. I became outraged. I recall telling my children by way of threat about being placed on a milk carton. So I want to let others know that I do care. And it saddens me that this issue appears to be overlooked.
Based on information I reviewed nationwide over the years there appear to be a disturbingl disproportionate number of Black women and girls across the United States have gone missing. What's even more alarming is that the media coverage and legislation that missing Black girls are getting seems to be lacking compared to others that have gone missing. It is often unclear whether they have run away from home, were inflicted by violence, abducted, sent into sex industry or taken for their organs. Let's not only talk about it. Let's do something about it. Live 4/1/19 at 12pm Pacific. Call 516 387-1914 to join in on the conversation.

  • God Has Not Forgotten About You
There comes a time in everyones life when life seems more than one can bare. Be it mental, relational, financial or spiritual. When that happens what is one to do? I can recall being told that everyone often gets stuck in a rut and often wants to give up on life. However when one solely rely on ones own strength and one's resources run out. Not to mention family and friends seems to not hear you or perhaps refuse to return your call or open their door. Where can one turn?
I was told that there is a Man. And he is not a boyfriend or husband. When one grow tired and feel heavy and burdened or perhaps things appear to be out of control or perhaps difficult. Remember God never gets tired nor does He run out of resources, love, grace, mercy or solutions to our problems.
According to the Word of God he knows and understand what we are going through. He also knows what we need to get through it. That is why He frequently tells us to not worry about our problems or allow our situation to take over our minds. God said that we can cast all of our worries and anxities on to Him. With that being said I am assured that God has not forgotten about me nor has He forgotted about you.
If you are feeling helpless or hopeless and feel that God has forgotten about you you do not want to miss this show. Join Pastor Daniel Estell and I as we discuss this topic.  To join in on the conversation call 516 387-1914. No problem is too big or small for God.
