Precious Predicaments

On November 8, 2016 history will be made. Many of our lives will be changed. Policies and Laws will be implemented or deleted. Local, City, School Board, Government and The Chief Of Staff position will be affected. And let's not forget the many Propostions that are on the ballots including raising the tobacco tax, legalizing marijuana, discontinuing the death penalty and approving bonds to help school, families and situations. There is a lot going on and we can not stick our head in the sand. We all have a lotat stake. We have watched and listened to the name callings, threats,  disrespect of others and other inappropriate behaviors. Let's talk and discuss our opinions. Doing nothing will not help. Let your voice matter by going out and vote. Many have fought and died for this right. Many may not understand the voting process however let's listen and learn. If you are running for an office, agree or disagree with a proposition or have information you would like to share call 516 387-1914. Let's show the world that our Vote Better Matter. Ignorance is a choice and a learned behavior.

Todays episode is to honor those that have been impacted by Breast Cancer. I will provide information, resources, education regarding early detection and referrals to support groups. Cancer is a disease that if left untreated can be detramential to ones life. Even today many still have little knowlege regarding its existance. At age 59 in 2008, I lost my mother to Breast Cancer. Call in are welcome. Let's join forces and share knowledge and experiences.

About 1 in 8 U.S. women — 12% — will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. It is also a know fact that men can develop breast cancer.

The show is designed to address a subject that many individuals experience from time to time. I will explore the power of words and how one is capable of becoming insecure. I will also address the development and cause of insecurities.  Many are able to function yet there are those that lack awareness which can create havoc when it comes to engaging in healthy relationships with others. The insecurity could be physical appearance, financial, sexual, mental the  list can go on and one. One will learn how to be set free from the power of negative self image. I will demonstrate positive self talk and affirmation. I will explore childhood traumas. I will also provide tools to assist individuals with becoming self motivated, empowered as they gain confidence to heal the old wounds of their insecurities to become more secure within themselves. Such transformation is a positive step towards engaging in healthy relationships. Changing your mindset can create a better future

Understanding Domestic Violence is a show that is designed to educate individuals about the cycle of abuse. Many individuals have entered into and engaged in relationships that were toxic or dangerous. Some are still enduring the abuse. Others have found a way out. And many have died at the hands of another. Donestic Violence is causing havoc in our homes, community, hospitals, schools and court system. The goal is to provide resources, educate and empower individuals to end the silence. One will learn to not be afraid to get help. The purpose is also to save lives.
