What looked like a fairly straightforward training camp for the Nashville Predators has become a preseason of roster battles.

Several prospects arrived at Predators training camp ready to compete for their NHL opportunity. On today's show we talk about how players like Cole O'Hara are pushing NHL experienced players like Zachary L'Heureux to compete for an opening night roster spot.  Ann Kimmel of Penalty Box Radio and Emma Lingan from The Hockey News recap this weekend's back to back preseason games with "one word" to describe the games and discuss what is and isn't clear about Nashville's roster with injuries to players like Nic Hague and Matthew Wood and the absence of Luke Evangelista.
