I have the best listeners and I can't thank you enough for continuing to listen. Just like the seasons of Motherhood change, this too is changing.
I hope you continue to share and find value from these episodes but also hope to see you over at "CONFIDENT AS A MOTHER" where we will continue to discuss all things Motherhood.
Together, we can really focus on getting unstuck and out from under the day to day. We learn to re-discover who we are and what it is that we need from ourselves and from others. It's totally possible and simple.
We start by healing our minds and letting that strength and confidence trickle over into the other parts of our life. By feeling confident in our minds; we begin to feel confident in our bodies, our marriage, and everything else.
You're not just a Mother. You're a woman with goals, dreams, wants, needs that deserve to be made a priority. You can still be a great mom and give yourself the permission to also just be YOU- guilt free!
Please join me in celebrating YOU in Motherhood, every week, at 'CONFIDENT AS A MOTHER'

In this episode we are talking all about the B-word... BIRTH PLAN!
You will soon understand that they are not my favorite thing, mostly because I've witnessed so many deliveries that were co-dependent on a birth plan and not allowing the mom and support persons to really embrace, enjoy, and be open about their experience. This has often times left moms feeling dissatisfied with what should be one of the happiest moments of their lives.
However, I do understand the excitement and sense of security by having a plan for the big day. I made one, I get it! But today, I'm going to help you create YOUR birth plan along with YOUR back up Plan B. And guess what else? It's not going to be complicated :)
With this road map, you can create the desired experience you want for you and your baby, because we all have that vision of what we want our experience to look like right? Also, we will lay out a plan B so if and when your first choice cannot happen, you still feel prepared, empowered, and supported because you planned for the unplanned! How does that sound?
BONUS: Tune in to the full episode to get some juicy details on how you can get in on a FREE mini course that walks you through step by step on how to put your vision down on paper for both the ideal and unplanned moments. You, your provider, and your supports will all be on the same page, understand what's most important to you, and be able to advocate if and when anything changes. Let's leave the confusion and overwhelm behind because you deserve to have a plan designed for you, no matter what the circumstance!
Make sure to pop into our free and private MAMA SISTERHOOD where you can get lots more information about the course and much more PLUS you get to connect with a community of moms just like you in a non-judgmental safe space. #nojudgement #momlife #hotmessexpress
Today, we are busting the stigma and opening up about a super common yet under-discussed topic in Motherhood. After so much talk from my Mamas who have experienced it, it's time we have a conversation about it. There is no one-size fits all when it comes to Postpartum Depression and Anxiety, and we need to bring awareness to the fact that; It's Real, It presents differently for each mom, It can be debilitating, It isn't a choice, but there is a way to find support, begin healing, and get back to your old self again. IT DOES NOT DEFINE YOU!
Tasha Lemyre is here with us to speak on her experience with PPD and how she went undiagnosed for several months, how she recognized her symptoms, what she did to cope, where she found support, and how she began to heal again.
Tasha is a life coach who works with moms that feel alone in motherhood, stressed in daily life and overwhelmed. She helps her develop sisterhood by using her Facebook membership group, and also guides, and supports her to create lasting habit change and live a calmer and more fulfilling life. She hosts the Motherhood Unfiltered Podcast where she talks about the nitty gritty of motherhood. She's a girl mama of 2, married for 7 years to her high school sweetheart and our neighbor up in Canada!
You don't have to check all the boxes; and remember, you are not alone in this! It is OK to ask for help. We have all been there and it's hard! Don't be afraid to have that conversation....
If you are ever feeling like you need help, you are not yourself, or your having thoughts of harming yourself or someone else please contact your health care provider immediately, call an anonymous crisis hotline, dial 9-1-1, GET HELP! Your life matters.

Oh heyyyyy!! I see you Mama ;) Are you so excited for our second Moms Tell All episode?! YASSSS, same same!
Today we have Sara Arundel on and she is sharing with us her story about what it was like to have pre-existing health conditions that ultimately lead her to a failed induction and a cesarean delivery. All of which she embraced and is now of course happy and living her best life as a momma to little cutie Miss Avalee; but, she wants to share with you all some of the things she wishes she would have known sooner, and ways for expecting moms to advocate for themselves and make the best out of an unexpected situation.
Sara's story is a pretty common one that we see in labor land, but does that mean there isn't more that moms can do to prepare and/or have more of a say regarding their care through it all? We will find out as she shares her birth story and some pretty funny postpartum moments that will make you adore Sara just as much as I do!
What are you waiting for?? Let's Jam!!
Make sure to connect with Sara on IG @sara23x
Of course, here are the links to what Sara referenced in today's episode and they are worth checking out! I'm kind of jelly I didn't have either one :P
