This week, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman travelled to the French capital. On the agenda with French President Emmanuel Macron were war and crisis in the Middle East, as well as business deals worth billions of euros. The visit comes after a tumultuous period at home which saw a royal purge as the young leader attempts to consolidate his power. We take a closer look at the prince's plans to reform his kingdom. Meanwhile, in Syria, a suspected chemical attack has left dozens of civilians dead, drawing condemnation from around the world. It's still uncertain whether regime forces are the culpable party for the onslaught in the rebel-held town of Douma. Damascus and Moscow for their part have dubbed the accusations "fake news". However, the Assad regime was previously found guilty of using chemical weapons back in 2013.

Finally, Yemen is a broken country after three years of conflict. It has even eclipsed Syria as the world's worst humanitarian crisis. We speak to Ghassan Abou Chaar, the head of mission for Doctors Without Borders in Yemen, who spent a year working in the war-torn country.
