Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark is working on securing a $1B investment from a private equity firm, who would then own a 20% stake in the conference. This deal would ensure Big 12 programs are earning similar amounts of money to the Big Ten, but it's a wild step in the ever changing college athletics landscape. The Big 12 is also looking for a title sponsor and may chance the conference name.
