It's an honour to chat with Osi Umenyiora and Jared Allen ahead of their induction into the NFL London Games Ring Of Honour, which takes place at the half of the Jets-Vikings game this weekend.
To celebrate the 17-year history of the NFL playing in the U.K., the league will honour two NFL Legends that have had an impact on the game: London-born, two-time Super Bowl champion Osi Umenyiora and five-time Pro Bowler Jared Allen. The NFL London Games Ring of Honour ceremony recognizes those who have contributed to the growth and development of football in the U.K. and Ireland -- both on- and off-the-field.
As part of the halftime ceremony on Sunday, honourees will make brief remarks on-field and banners paying homage to their careers will be revealed. Banners will be displayed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium throughout the 2024 NFL London Games, and will return in the NFL seasons ahead.
