Pro Football Ireland : The Irish NFL Podcast

PFI's Conall Diggin sat down with Georgia Tech's David Shanahan on campus at Georgia Tech during the College Football National Championship weekend.

David talks about his college career, what it was like to play in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic and much more.

A huge thanks to David for not only his time for this podcast, but his availability, patience and kindness throughout a busy (but memorable) year for him. Good luck, Dave!

Legendary NFL reporter Peter King stopped by via Zoom at our live event with Neil Reynolds in Dungannon this week.

Peter looks ahead to Super Bowl LIX - but also reflects on an incredible career.

Thank you Peter - and Neil - for the time.

Welcome to an exciting episode of Pro Football Ireland, where we're thrilled to have former Green Bay Packer and Super Bowl XLV Champion, Greg Jennings, join us via FaceTime from the Deer's Head in Belfast.

In this special segment, Greg discusses the expansion of the NFL's global footprint, sharing his views on how the sport is being embraced around the world. We dive into the NFC North's competitive landscape, analyse the influence of Ben Johnson as he takes the helm in Chicago, and hear firsthand about the thrill of scoring two touchdowns in a Super Bowl.

Greg also gives us his take on who he believes will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy Sunday week.

Here we go! Jeff looks ahead to Championship Sunday.

Jeff and Michael look ahead to the big weekend in the Wild Card Round, while looking back at Notre Dame's big win in the CFB Semi Final.

Also, they talk about the designated home teams for the 2025 NFL London games, which were released today.

The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will both play as the designated home teams in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this year.

"We look forward to welcoming the Jets, Browns and Jaguars to London as part of the 2025 NFL International Games," said NFL UK and Ireland general manager Henry Hodgson. "This season will see us surpass 40 regular season games in the capital, a testament to the role the UK has played in growing the game globally."

Enjoy the weekend!
