  • Magnetite Mines raising up to $4.1 million to fund Razorback Project
Magnetite Mines Ltd (ASX:MGT) CEO Tim Dobson joins Proactive’s Tylah Tully to discuss its renounceable rights issue, offering eligible shareholders the opportunity to purchase one new share for every five held at a price of $0.20 per share.
This initiative aims to raise approximately $4.1 million before costs with funds intended to support the future development of the Razorback Iron Ore Project in South Australia, specifically targeting the completion of the project’s definitive feasibility study (DFS) and securing necessary Mining Lease approvals.

This growth was primarily driven by the expansion of its engineering services and deployment of its Powerhouse micro-grid renewable energy and storage solution. • Theralase Technologies Announces Promising Preclinical Results for Ruvidar in Treating HSV-1
Theralase Technologies CEO Roger DuMoulin-White joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share its lead drug formulation, Ruvidar, has shown significant preclinical effectiveness in destroying the Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV-1), surpassing the current standard of care, Acyclovir. Acyclovir, widely used to manage HSV-1, does not cure the virus but helps to alleviate symptoms associated with herpes infections, such as cold sores, genital herpes, shingles, and chicken pox.
DuMoulin-White highlighted that the global antiviral drug market is projected to reach around $71 billion by 2032, with approximately 3.7 billion people under age 50 infected with HSV-1. The preclinical findings indicate that Ruvidar is not only more potent than Acyclovir but also capable of preventing HSV-1 replication by an impressive 10 million-fold if administered one day post-infection—something Acyclovir fails to achieve.
These promising results position Ruvidar as a potential game-changer in the treatment of HSV-1, offering hope for more effective management of this widespread virus.

  • Helix Exploration CEO discusses Clink #1 well update as operations take a pause
HeLIX Exploration PLC (AIM:HEX) CEO Bo Sears discusses the latest operational update on the Clink #1 well at the company's Ingomar Dome Project in Montana with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion.
Sears expressed excitement about the findings, particularly the significant showings of helium and hydrogen, which he described as "incredible." He highlighted that hydrogen grades have increased towards total depth, an "extremely positive signal" according to Sears.
However, the operation encountered a minor setback in the shallow section of the wellbore, specifically in the Mowry Shale, which is proving to be problematic. Despite this, Sears remains confident, explaining that the issue is manageable and that they are fully funded for continued operations, including future activities at the Rudyard appraisal well.

  • Oriole Resources CEO discusses Mbe trenching results and future drilling plans
Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) CEO Martin Rosser talked with Proactive about the initial trenching results from the Mbe licence MB01-N sub-prospect, part of its phase one exploration program.
Rosser detailed significant findings from the first three trenches, including a highlight of 50 meters grading at 1.1 grams per tonne with a 20-meter zone at 2.2 grams per tonne in Trench One. Trench Three also yielded promising results with 68 meters grading at 0.77 grams per tonne.
Rosser emphasised the strong correlation between the previously reported soil anomalies and the trenching outcomes, noting that these results give the company a deeper understanding of the prospect's potential. However, he cautioned that while the trenching results are encouraging, they should not be directly extrapolated to depth due to grade depletion near the surface.
Looking ahead, Rosser discussed the next steps, including more trenching at the Mbe South Prospect, which he described as having a larger areal extent and more robust grade distribution. These upcoming results will guide the planning for the 2024-2025 drilling season.
