Tony chats with Sunit Shah, Founder & CEO at Soteris, historically insurance has been a probabilistic game of large numbers. We can't predict which policy is going to be unprofitable, but if we write enough policies of similar characteristics we can predict the total losses of the portfolio and manage that risk. Soteris is aiming to predict what was considered unpredictable and predicting profitability on a policy by policy basis starting with auto.
