This week's Sunday show focuses on the topic of environmental racism. Our Executive Producer and creator interviewed long time advocate Jeannie Economos from the Farmworkers Association. Economos explains how little policies have changed between the Trump and Biden administrations. The issue of environmental racism, (and increased racism in general), under DeSantis is also discussed. That is our first story.

Next, I will discuss the release of environmental attorney Steven Donziger, from an unconstitutional home detention issued by an ethically compromised federal judge. Donziger won a lawsuit against fossil fuel giant Chevron for the indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Amazon. He won a $9.5 billion dollar settlement against Chevron for its premeditated pollution of the Amazon rainforest. Chevron used their army of corporate attorneys to destroy Donziger, while refusing to pay a cent. This is our second story.

And finally, we will have our "Jackass of the Week" Award.

This Sunday, I will focus on Florida's own federal judge Kathryn Mizelle. Judge Mizelle struck down the Biden mask mandate for all public transportation. In her 59-page decision, she ADMITS that masks... "traps virus droplets." She continued to build an argument on the idea that ..."wearing a mask cleans nothing." Apparently, the judge had difficulty with basic high school biology. Furthermore, lifting the mask mandate on public transportation will limit the safe mobility and rights of medically disabled persons in DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE ADA or the Americans with Disabilities Act. 

Anyway, I will discuss the absurdity of the ruling, both in terms of the judge's legal theory and the science. I will also discuss the ramifications of this foolish decision.

This Sunday, it's Easter and it's also the middle of Passover. You would think that the Christian majority would renounce the hatred, white supremacy and yes--neo Nazism coming from the GOP, run by Donald Trump, but that's not the case. In fact, white supremacy and neo Nazism has been a part of the coservative mindset for centuries. Trump has merely sanctioned the open and enthusiastic expression of such ugliness. Today's show will be dedicated to exposing the hate Donald Trump incites.

This week our Sunday show focuses on the confirmation vote for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson and the overt bigotry of the GOP. That is my first story. Next, I will discuss the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine as Russian troops kidnap Ukranian civilians and hold them in what can only be called prison or concentration camps. When will the president authorize a no-fly zone? 

Finally, I will discuss a story that has received very little press coverage in the mainstream, namely the worldwide civil disobedience of climate scientists that coincides with the release of the final IPCC report. This last IPCC report blatantly states that we are heading to irreversible climate disaster, and yet the corporate media focused on the "slap heard around the world," when WIll Smith slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars.

The IPCC's latest climate report card has clearly stated that we are heading towards global climate disaster unless we change our ways and end the use of fossil fuels. Period. There was no doubt about the findings. We are on a highway to Hell--literally. 

Today's report will discuss the issue and ask some tough questions of our leaders--and ourselves. I have no answers, but I do know that burying our collective heads in the sand--won't work.

This week on PNN's Sunday Show deals with Florida's own, Senator Rick Scott and his 11 Point Plan to Destroy Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. As it turns out, Florida's former governor has a criminal past involving Medicare/Medicaid fraud at a massive scale. Rick Scott was found guilty but never served time. Now, Scott and the GOP want to inflict this new level of blatant criminality on the rest of the nation. 

Our Jackass of the Week Award will be announced.

This Sunday, I will continue the series on Donald Trump as a Russian asset. Going back to The Moscow Project, Chapter 3 is titled 'Cultivating an Asset 2009-2013, How Donald Trump became the perfect candidate for Russia's assault on American democracy.' The Moscow Project is part of an initiative of the Center for American Progress. 

Our second story is about the Russian war against the people of Ukraine, and how the arms industry is profiting. There is evidence to support the accusation that NATO leaders saw Russian aggression as a profit opportunity, based on an article published in Truthout. 

Finally, our Jackass of the Week Award goes to Indiana Republican Senator Mike Braun, who not only made a fool of himself at Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's SCOTUS hearings. Braun stated that he thought the SCOTUS should revoke the Lovings decision which legalized interracial marriage. Furthermore, Braun went on to make statements against SCOTUS decisions that legalized interracial marriage, but also against the right to birth control.

This week, I will continue the series outlining how Trump was most likely--a Russian Asset working against the best interests of the United States. I will discuss Chapter 2 of the Moscow Project, titled "Hybrid Warfare", Russian President Vladimir Putin's strategy to undermine democracies around the world. 

The title of this chapter speaks for itself. 

Next, I will discuss how Russia under Putin's dictatorial rule has broken the Budapest Memorandum, which was a treaty engineered to guarantee Ukraine's right to exist as an independent nation. Russia was one of the signatories, but Putin has no use for truth or honor. This report will also discuss how the Trump administration weakened our national security when it came to Russian aggression. 

And of course, there's our Jackass of the Week award.

Last week I discussed the dire situation in Ukraine and the possibility that Donald Trump was groomed to be a Russian asset. I reported on how Trump shared highly sensitive "code word" intelligence with the Russian ambassador and seriously began to damage our national security. Trump should have been impeached and removed from office on malfeasance alone but the GOP of Trump has decided to side with a questionable president instead of protecting our national security. These are serious issues that have been cast aside by a GOP more concerned with maintaining power than fulfilling their duty to the Constitution. 

This week I will do a deep dive into a report conducted by the Center for American Progress titled The Moscow Report. This report details how Donald Trump was feted and groomed to essentially do Putin's bidding. The report has six extensive chapters and this week I will discuss Chapter 1 - The Early Years. Going back to the eighties, the report clearly shows a systematic attempt to help an incompetent millionaire win the Oval Office. In successive weeks, I will share the other chapters.

This week on our Sunday show, I will discuss reports that document Donald Trump's entire career, including how he was courted by the Russians. By his own admission, the Trump organization accepted money from Russian interests for projects no legitimate bank would touch. According to these reports, it is highly possible that Trump was an 'asset' or a 'useful idiot' who leaked sensitive intelligence to the Russians. Trump has yet to be criminally indicted by the DOJ--but we can certainly push for this outcome. Allowing Russian diplomats access to US intelligence is a crime. Period. Everyone involved should have already been indicted and forced to put up bail and surrender their passports. We do not yet know if the leaked intelligence helped embolden Putin to invade Ukraine, but it's not a wild theory. That is our big story.

Our second story deals with the simple fact that Putin's attack on Ukraine is not only illegal; it is an obvious move to begin a full attack on the rest of Europe. This will be an editorial on the subject. 

And our Jackass of the Week goes to Senator Mike Lee--who apparently believes that democracy impairs freedom.
