Veteran progressive journalist, strategist and activist Cliff Schecter guest hosts the show today. In addition to being Founder and President of the public relations and political strategy firm Libertas LLC, Cliff is also co-host of the 'UnPresidented Podcast.'

First, Cliff is joined by David Pepper, Chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party. The two discuss David's two-part 'Jack Sharpe' book series, which includes "The People's House," and most recently, "The Wingman." Despite the series being fiction, David actually included Russia interfering in the U.S.'s electoral system in his writing before it actually happened in real life. David says he wrote about this because he wanted to bring to American's attention the weak points in our electoral and governmental systems that were (and still are) vulnerable to a hostile foreign power like Russia. David has even been praised by President Bill Clinton as one of his favorite Authors.

Cliff and Mark detail a story that, as Fathers, enraged, saddened, and motivated them ahead of this November's primary elections across the country. It's the story this week of an infant being ripped from her mother's arms while she was breastfeeding the baby at a border detention center. The Mother was then handcuffed for resisting. Then, in a disgusting perversion of scripture, Attorney General Jeff Sessions cited a Bible verse that had been used to justify Slavery and the Holocaust to justify the Trump administration's directive to separate children from their parents at border detention centers. The two also touch on a new lawsuit filed in New York state against President Donald Trump and three of his adult children, which alleges a pattern of illegal conduct over a decade related to his personal charity, the Trump Foundation.
