Leslie is joined by Scott N. Paul, President of the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a partnership established by some of America’s leading manufacturers and the United Steelworkers union.
The two analyze President Trump's announcement that he will proceed with tariffs on $50 billion in Chinese imports. Trump also introduced new limits on Chinese investment in U.S. high-tech industries as part of a broad campaign to crack down on Chinese acquisition of U.S. technology.
Leslie and Scott also address the news that Ivanka Trump won seven new Chinese trademarks right before her father vowed to save Chinese company ZTE.
