Far too often I catch myself RUSHING through life. Wishing away the current season because I want to be at the "end goal". I get so caught up in the next chapter that I forget to savour the chapter I'm currently in and how I once wished for this season right now.

Sometimes we need to take our foot off the gas and remind ourselves why we are here. Why are we on this path we're on? And is that why even aligned anymore! We need to sometimes take a minute to course correct if things start to go south.

Today we're talking all about being RESOURCEFUL. In my opinion that is the most important skill when it comes to starting something new or even just to see success in something in general. Sure a lot of ventures you need other skills.. but truly, if you are resourceful, you can figure all that stuff out as you go!

Or maybe, you know how to do something, but it's taking up way more time than it needs to.. being resourceful for you could mean outsourcing something so that you can better allocate your time to other things that are more important or move the needle forward.

Today I want to share a different perspective with you. This isn't an episode telling you that you just need to suck it up. This isn't faulting you for being overwhelmed. This episode is going to encourage to stop and THINK. Half the problem with being too busy is that we don't ever just take a minute. We just keep going in the same "busy" loop over and over just to keep up!

BUT, what if we stopped and asked ourself: do we like the busy? Or do we not like the busy? This is a powerful question that can trigger you to start taking action towards a path of "busy" that actually gives you purpose.

This one is POWERFUL. I'm in a season where being intentional is EVERYTHING. I've been taking a lot of inventory on my life, my business, my journey.. and I started to realize that I was just going through the motions and checking boxes. Feeling like I was being productive, but really not doing the right things intentionally to get towards my goals.

This episode is all about recognizing if we are not being intentional in some area and taking some initial steps to course correct! For example - are you intentionally listening to this podcast.. or are you getting distracted by a lot of other things?

This is your reminder.. that YOU are an inspiration to somebody else out there. Whether you know them or not. Could be a stranger, could be your significant other, could be your own kids. There is ALWAYS someone watching you. Someone sees you. And that someone is relying on YOU to show up to inspire them to do the same.

Today we're talking about VISION. But not just on a surface level. I get deep on WHY having a vision is so important. Think about it, most of us get so caught up in the day to day that we don't even realize what we actually want. We don't take inventory and realize that what we want doesn't align with what we are currently doing.

It's time to stop and think. It's time to get DEEP. It's time to get emotional. It's time not just to create a vision for your life, but to create deeply rooted emotional ties to it. Make not working towards that vision not an option.

A bit of real talk in this episode.. Because honestly I'm going through a bit of a funky season. I've been doing a lot of reflecting and realizing a lot of things just need to change. Some things that used to be a priority maybe aren't anymore.

I'm realizing now that it all makes sense! As I grow and evolve as a person - of course my priorities change! So in this episode I wanted to normalize that and just be real with you about where I'm at!
