Michelle Williams says she wants to normalize the mental health discussion. Well, let's chat.
The narrative is that most people are suffering from some sort of mental illness and the solution is to "seek help". Funny though, that help always seems to come packaged with some sort of mind-altering and nerve-damaging psychotropic drug.
Christians, on one hand, say that by His stripes they're healed, yet they see little to no healing taking place. On the other hand, they claim it's ok to drug themselves up because God is working through doctors to help them create drugs people need, yet the drugs are making people worse.
Wtf is really going here?
Yes, it's July and yes, we're at the midway point of 2018. However, I'm here to remind you that I don't give a where you currently are, you do NOT have to leave 2018 the same way you came in.
Remember the hardest person you have to convince is yourself.
Hate to tell you but you're soft and the life you say you want is not accessible to the soft.
We can all agree that life will and often does kick your unexpectedly, however, it's imperative to know what to do and how to do it in order to keep pressing forward.
On this episode, I'm challenging you to look at your kickings just a little bit differently.
I don't give a what's going on in this physical world, I need you to understand that your health and wellness really comes down to one decision.
You must decide what you believe.
Are you following the reality that other humans have created or are you creating and living the reality you say you want and believe in??
On today's episode, we're talking about curing what doctors say is incurable.
My guest, Jazmine Janay, is walking us through her journey back to healing, health, and wellness. From a 100-pound weight loss to becoming a junk food vegan that led to several debilitating autoimmune conditions at age 22, she describes in detail the moment she decided to put her health back in her hands.

How you gon' win when you ain't right within?
Our bodies are falling apart, our minds have gone to , and we have become weak links who, rather than operating in our power, have become emotional pawns in this earthly game.
The problem, however, is that we claim we're here to leave a legacy. So as much as we would like to "preach" to the youth, the question at hand is what are we really "doing" to illustrate what healthy, wise and abundant living really looks like?
I don't want to hear anything else about toxic masculinity because what we're now experiencing in response to this "problem" is toxic femininity.
Society has created a narrative for women to follow and we have followed suit to our own detriment.
Until focus is shifted to the matter at hand, we will continue to see the rise in mental and physical health problems with women that ultimately trickle down to our children, our families and our community.
When people say that some are just "lucky" because they healed from an illness or condition, please know that is some utter bullshat. In the health game there is no such thing as luck.
It's levels to healing. Like pulling back the layers of an onion, you decide how deep you wanna go. However, before you can even consider that, there's one fundamental question that you haven't asked that is more than likely hindering 1)your ability to consider what's possible and 2)your overall health progress.
Let's talk about it.
Episode Notes
We all seem to agree that children's behavior is often stimulated to a larger degree by specific things they eat or drink, yet we have such a hard time accepting the correlation between what we, as adults, put in our mouths and its effects on our mood, thought processes and behavior.
As society continues to shift, it would behoove you to make your mental focus a top priority and the first way you can do that is by checking the types of "food" you're putting in your body.
I know, I know, marijuana is all natural, straight from mother earth so it can't be a problem.
Maybe. Or maybe you've abused it so much that instead of you controlling it, it now controls you?
The task, as with everything in life is self-checking to be sure you're aware the moment your vice no longer becomes an option that you choose but rather a "need" that you've become dependent upon.
