Roy McComb is a former senior detective with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (the Royal Ulster Constabulary), who subsequently became Deputy Director for the National Crime Agency. In 2015 he was appointed to lead the investigation into long-standing allegations of police corruption in relation to the original Stephen Lawrence murder inquiry.
Roy started his career in policing in Northern Ireland during 'the troubles'. A highly volatile time when police not only had to deal with the everyday duties of normal policing but also faced the daily threat of terror attacks. Roy and his colleagues spent their days constantly thinking about personal safety, living double lives, and lying to others about the job they did.
Any small slip-up could result in them being killed by the IRA. Roy's story is truly captivating and we are so honored to have him join us on Protect and serve.

Welcome to part two of our chat with Retired FBI agent Wesley Wong.
September 11 2001, was like any other day for Wes, in fact as he puts it, It was an incredibly beautiful, sunny day in New York City. He was getting ready to start his workday as normal, little did he know this day would be anything but. In a few hour's time, he would be fighting to not only save hundreds of fellow New Yorkers from the biggest terror attack on US soil but also fighting to save his own life, as he found himself trapped at the bottom of one of the towers.
Protect and Serve remembers the lives lost on September 11.

My name is Oliver Laurence,
I spent over twelve years as a police officer serving in some of the harshest environments Australia has to offer, now working as a Senior Investigator -…
I'll chat with the men and women on the front line of events such as 9/11 to the investigation into Jimmy Saville, taking down the 'Teflon Don' John Gotti and even having to pull the trigger to stop a terrorist on a murderous rampage on the streets of London.
I’ll sit down with these brave men and women to hear their first-hand accounts of these events and how they got there.
Welcome to Protect and Serve
