On today's episode of my podcast, I am joined by an amazing friend, Mei. 

She's a multi-talented, renaissance woman. She can sing, she can draw, she can act, and she can resuscitate dead plants back to life. I've always enjoyed sharing ideas with her, especially topics that we don't necessarily both agree with because she has this very perceptive way to lay things out in a sensible, empathetic way. We can also get out of hand and fuel each others flames, which is also always good fun. On this episode, we discuss different topics such as how the mafia in Italy is taking care of the local people during the pandemic, how it feels to be multiethnic (including Japanese) in Japan, and how, yet again, and how Japan has fumbled yet again at containing the COVID -19 virus.

On the second part of my podcast with Ocean, we give each other some interesting book recommendations, talk about the overall results of the BLM movement that happened in Tokyo, and further discuss Ocean's rap and modelling career. 

Ocean is one of the most pensive, thoughtful, and creative people I know in Tokyo, and it's been a great pleasure having him on my podcast. I'm hopeful that we'll have more episodes together talking about other dumb and discourse-worthy shit! Enjoy

On the second part of the podcast, Hauke and I start our conversation talking about why we don't want to have children, and the ethics of having children in todays day and age. We continue to talk about the effects of racial trauma to minorities all over the world, and try to tackle on both sides of the arguments of whether racial trauma should consistently be talked about and reprimanded to people today and of the future. We conclude the talk by both criticising and praising today's green movement, recently spearheaded by the young figure Greta Thunberg.

On this episode of my podcast, I interview another good friend of mine, Hauke! It is indeed an unusual and complicated name, but this is why we are friends. He is now part of the 'I can't pronounce your name, let me give you an easier one because fuck your culture and background, TOM' club! (AKA any ethnic people that did not adhere to Anglo-saxon majority languages). 

He is well known in his online/TV German community, not by his killer good looks, which he has, but with the in depth and interesting conversations and outlooks he provides for his fans and listeners. He is one of the most calming people to talk to, which makes discoursing about divisive topics incredibly smooth and productive. We talk about his life in Germany and now in Japan, how one sided immigration attitudes between western and eastern countries are, and debunk religion as a sham (more on my side). Enjoy!

On the second part of my podcast with Yuki, we talk about whether women, like Israel, should be included in conscription army services, and the unexpected gender discriminatory backlash women receive by not being included in the conscription service. We move on to discuss the ethical dilemma of the use and existence of nuclear weapons, and end our chat talking about social media hoes. Enjoy!

On this episode of my podcast, I have my good friend and recurring guest Yuki talking about our experiences in our country's conscription army. We discuss the good and bad aspects of the Singaporean and South Korean army, and how it affected our ideas on different political and social ideas, such as the unethical use of tear gas to 'control' protests. We end the discussion with whether Singaporean governance is outdated or still essential in today's day and age. 

In this very drunk episode of my podcast, I have one of my best friends, Will, join me in Public Discourse. He's an incredibly talented videographer working in both professional and creative fields all around Tokyo. He's the man you go to when your house has burnt down because he's one of the most centred people I've met. Whilst I drunkenly rage, Will is heard drunkenly trying to show me different perspectives, and tries to salvage our conversations into barely a Public Discourse. Hope y'all enjoy! 

On the third episode of my podcast, I finish off the very informative and interesting conversation I had with my guest Nina, a good friend of mine who's a PhD student focusing in US-Okinawan relations. We start the episode with our personal opinions and definitions of nationalism and patriotism. It's followed by Nina's very knowledgeable retelling and analysis of her field of research, and nicely wrapped with a riveting discussion about the importance of grandparents having a vital sex life. My guest today is Nina, a very good friend of mine whom I met a few years back. She's a PhD student here in Tokyo, specialising in US-Japan relations in Okinawa.
