PUCKS IN DEEP

This week on Pucks in Deep we have Freshman defenseman for the University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers, Ayo Adeniye. The boys sit down and discuss what it's like to be a part of a young Charger team that includes 13 Freshman. Ayo talks about how he started playing hockey at 3 years old thanks to a birthday party that went awry, and he's been getting pucks in deep ever since. Tune in to hear his story about what he's had to overcome to make it to the WCHA, what he expects from the Chargers this season, and more!

This week on Pucks in Deep we have Sophmore forward for the University of Wisconsin Badgers, Owen Lindmark. The boys sit down and discuss what it's like to play for Wisconsin and the high expectations their team has. Owen talks about how he didn't start skating until he was 8 years old due to moving with his father who was in the Air Force, but he's been a natural shot-blocker since day 1 and hasn't looked back since.  Tune in to hear about his Freshman year in the Big Ten, how he and the Badgers are getting ready for this season, and all the inside scoops about his roommates/teammates Ryder & Shay Donovan, Dylan Holloway and Mike Vorlicky.

This week on Pucks in Deep we have Sophmore defenseman for the Union Dutchmen, Dylan Anhorn. The boys sit down and discuss what it's like to play for Union and the winning tradition that coach Rick Bennett has established there for the last decade. Dylan talks about his start in hockey growing up in Calgary, Alberta Canada. He always had a knack for getting pucks in deep and really developed his love for blocked shots while playing in the BCHL for the Prince George Spruce Kings. All that plus an inside scoop on a specific equipment change the Dutchmen are making this season, you don't want to miss this eppy!

This week on Pucks in Deep we have Army West Point goalie Trevin Kozlowski. The Black Knights goalie and the ECH boys discuss Army’s success last season as well as what they have to do to get back in the top 20 this season. Also, the boys talk about Trevin’s path to Army and what it’s like training for the military, going to school and playing division I hockey all at the same time. Trevin gives us incredible insight as to what his daily life looks like while on his path to the pro’s on this weeks episode of Pucks in Deep.

This week on Pucks in Deep we have Cornell Forward and Vancouver Canucks draft pick, Jack Malone! Malone joins us to talk about the upcoming season and the run the Big Red went on last year! Malone tells us about the atmosphere at the Lynah as well as the the adjustment the boys will have to make with no fans this year.  Lastly we have story time with Jack, as he talks about his time in the USHL and the moment he was drafted by the Canucks. This week on Pucks in Deep we have another Minnesota kid out of Edina, Ben Copeland. Copeland who spent his time playing for the Waterloo Blackhawks of the USHL in Juniors, will now be entering his junior season with the Colorado College Tigers. Copeland joins the pod this week to talks about his path to CC and why he chose CC over other schools. Also on this weeks episode, we talk about the back to school phase and how CC is going about their fall semester and when we might see college hockey start back up. When we do start back up, Copeland will look to add to his 39 points in his first seasons. This week on Pucks in Deep we have UMASS goaltender Matt Murray join the ECH Boys to talk about how UMASS has turned their program around and is now a team that finds themselves at the top of the NCAA. We also talk about Murray's come up and his time at UMASS so far. Murray who holds the schools record for most wins in a single season will be entering into his senior season with the Minutemen looking for another trip to the frozen four. Sofo going into what will be both his and the programs last season of college hockey, joins us to talk about his path to division I hockey via juniors. Sofo also touches on his experience of both playing puck in Alaska and playing the great game, that is college hockey. If you've ever wondered what the student athletes life is like away the rink, this is the pod to listen to. While we are saddened to hear about the end of the Seawolves, the ECH boys and Sofo have a good time talking about the college experience and the ins and outs and of college hockey.
