PUCKS IN DEEP

In this weeks episode of Pucks in Deep, We have Alex Steeves from the University of Notre Dame join us! Steeves talks about his path to college hockey and his breakout season last year.  Also on today's episode, Steeves and the ECH boys discuss the upcoming season and what it might look like for the NCAA as a whole. As we continue to move forward towards a very uncertain season, we discuss news out of the Hockey East conference in regards to scheduling next season. Lastly, we discuss the news breaking out of Saint Paul, as the University of St. Thomas has announced they'll be joining the field of what is now, 62. This week on Pucks in Deep we have Anaheim Ducks Draft Pick and Incoming Freshmen for the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs, Will Francis join the pod. Will just announced that he is Cancer free after Battling Leukemia, Congrats Will. Will has gone through adversity like no-other and has a great story to share with you all this week. Coming off an injury last year and battling cancer, Will talks about how excited he is for his future with the two-time defending champion Bulldogs. This week on Pucks in Deep we have Elite Army Ranger JB Spisso. On this weeks episode JB and the ECH boys talk about his 26 years serving our country and what lessons he learned there and how he now applies what he has learned to his daily life and profession. Not only does Spisso wear his heart on his sleeve on the battle field but he does so at the rink as well. Spisso talks about his time training the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins, the New York Rangers and collegiate athletes! Spisso also talks about the game of college hockey today, player development, and what being a warrior in leadership is all about. Hello College Hockey fans! This week on Pucks in Deep we have from the University of Michigan, Junior goaltender, Strauss Mann. Mann a Former Clark Cup champ with the Fargo Force is now heading into his junior year with the Wolverines and is looking to have another breakout season. Last season Mann posted a 1.85 GAA with a .939 SV% and with that, took home the Big Ten Goaltender of the year award. On this weeks episode we talk about Strauss Mann's journey to Michigan and how he got where he is today. Dom talks about what it's like playing hockey in the dessert and what his experience has been like playing for a new program. On this weeks episode we discuss how Odeen came up through juniors and has now worked his way to be a leader on what is a very successful program, in Quinnipiac. Odeen gives advice to the aspiring college hockey players, as well as talks about his upcoming senior season with the bobcats.  As far as other news in college hockey, the ECH boys cover a new 3 on 3 OT rule that may be in place next year and we talk more about Alabama Huntsville.
