SUMMARY: Mason Parks shares an inspiring mini-sermon on Abram's call. Then we discuss the strange fact that the Pharisees warned Jesus. Do you mean they aren't always the 'bad guys'? Then we move to a tough discussion on privilege and dual citizenship inspired by Paul's letter to the Philippians. Richard continues his Lenten series on trust.

SUMMARY
On this, the first Sunday of Lent, we discuss the story of Jesus in the wilderness with the tempter. A closer look at the nature of what tempted Jesus gives us insight into our Lenten journey. Paul's letter to the Romans includes encouragement to keep preaching the good news, and begs us to examine what we mean by the word "salvation."

In this episode Jesus is more than meets the eye. He and his besties go up to the mountaintop, but cannot stay. Paul makes an allusion to a similar experience of Moses. He reminds us that through Christ, our veil is lifted. Richard BC marvels at the mystery of the readings and Psalm 99.

In this episode, we have the second part of Jesus' Sermon on the Plain and the end of Paul's explanation on the resurrection of the body. Plus Nicole Cox on the end of Joseph's story with his brothers. Some big issues here: How do we love our enemy? What is the difference between the soul and the spirit?

The Gospel reading is Luke 5:1-11. Jesus guides Peter to the miraculous catch, and tells him, John, and James that they will become "fishers of people." Max Hazell lends his voice to the calling of Isaiah. The second large segment is 1 Corinthians 15:1-11, forcing us to examine what "Resurrection" really means.
