Zach Edey and Armando Bacot, two of the best rebounders in the nation, each notched double-doubles. In two “what will see from them now” games, FAU rebounded from their FGCU loss with a 15-point victory in their first-ever AAC game, using a 14-1 closing run to beat ECU, while Illinois absolutely destroyed Northwestern by 30. Caitlin Clark saved Iowa with a beautiful step-back, logo, three-pointer at the buzzer, Duke won thanks to inspiration from Mark Mitchell’s dad, and the Wake Forest transfer guard train rolls on.
