Carlos Soto is the CEO & founder of Nosotros Tequila. What started as a college assignment his senior year at Loyola Marymount University turned into his full time career. Available in two blends, Blanco and Reposado, they’re using something as simple as an alcoholic beverage to help bring people together. With over 500 accounts of restaurants, bars and retail outlets in California, they’re looking to become the staple tequila in the golden state. They donate 1% of all sales towards Waves For Waters, an organization that is bringing clean drinking water to communities in need across the globe.
In this Episode Carlos discusses why it takes a village to build something great, realizing there is no perspective without distance, how important it is to surround ourselves with people that have the right mindset, how growth comes from the outskirts of our comfort zone and how celebrating the little victories will get us through the mud.

Next month will mark 3 years since I started podcasting and it has taught me more than I could have ever imagined. With over 138 Episodes of interviewing guests, 3 group podcasts (Groupisodes) and 30+ solo podcasts on Purpose in the Youth Podcast, I want to thank the podcast gods for creating such an incredible platform.
Some of the ways in which podcasting has changed my life:
- Provided me a platform to share my voice with the world
- Made realize the importance of consistency
- Provided me a platform to network with people
- Showed me there is no such thing as failure
- Allowed me to just be my authentic self

In the beginning of this year I had a burnout. I had just gotten back from visiting family on the East Coast for the holidays and when I got back to LA, I put my pedal to the medal and had a breakdown.
6 months later, I’m much more conscious about how hard I work and have found ways to avoid that ever happening again.
These are the 5 steps that I follow:

For Sydney, Madeby is just the beginning. She plans to someday create a place where people can feel at home within themselves, their body, mind & soul.
In this episode Sydney discusses why she’s thankful for being diagnosed with cancer, why we should not allow ourselves to get hung up on the small details, being okay with not knowing everything, having the ability to stay in the game no matter what and a reminder that even when times get tough, it’s never over.

Bearded Man followers! Epic interview I have to share out with you today that I did on The Wellness Hustle Podcast a couple weeks back with Kirstie Taylor. We talked about growing up in Chicopee, MA, why I launched this podcast and how important it has been to treat it as if there are 10 million people listening every week.
The Wellness Hustle Podcast is about empowering a shift in focus to what truly matters: ourselves. Work hard play hard isn’t cutting it anymore; we’ve been focusing on the wrong hustle. Intended to inspire a true shift in your life, this podcast will cut through the wellness BS that’s out there, chat with industry leaders, and have candid talks with real people who went through real struggles and how they overcame them. Real talks. Real advice. Real change.

Mike Garmany is a recording artist known as The Holdup. Since the beginning of his career in 2006, he’s been on a path of discovery for both his music and personal life. In the beginning it was about being the life of the party with both drugs and alcohol.
Today he’s heavily focused on staying productive, writing down his goals, having discipline for himself by living a healthy and sober lifestyle. One of his newest passion is running which helps him keep a clear headspace. Aside from a couple tracks being co written, his most recent project, Killing Time, was produced, written, recorded, engineered, mixed and mastered by himself which he’s most proud of. If he had to give himself any advice for when he was first getting started, it be to not be afraid.
In this episode Mike discusses vague goals produce vague results, gratitude is the antidote to anxiety & fear, create your dream job if it doesn’t already exist and why we must make decisions faster.
