Today episode delves into the lives of my wonderful colleagues Tilly and Stuart.
As part of mental health awareness week we talk about wellness the in the workplace, a conversation that has previously been overlooked but is now gaining traction.
This insightful and light-hearted conversation talks about the how mental health can be seen as a spectrum between 'mental health' and 'mental illness' and how we usually sit somewhere in the middle of this spectrum and how purpose, meaning and drive may help keep us stable.
We also explore some signs of poor mental health to watch out for in yourself and also those around you such as your colleagues, friends and family and how you can approach both situations.
Finally, we acknowledge just how daunting it can be to open up and about mental health, particularly at work, and come to the conclusion that there is in fact a lot of benefits to speaking up about your mental health.
If you would like to connect with Tilly and Stuart you can find them on LinkedIn by searching Tilly Martin and Stuart Birley.

We did it.... SEASON 1, you have been a sensational experience.
This solo episode shares why I started the podcast, what I learnt along the journey and where I hope the journey continues.
It all started with a craving for meaningful conversations about what’s actually important in life, like, what is success, happiness, and living with purpose? (the conversations typically had in someone's kitchen at 5am).
The idea of creating a platform to host these meaningful conversations was conceived...
In this episode I also share how I overcame a ton of self-doubt to actually go through with starting the podcast, what the common learnings have been across the episodes and also give a sneak peak of what's on the road map for season 2.
I'm endlessly passionate about the podcast and what it stands for and have honestly been taken back by the love and support it's receiving, for this I am forever grateful and I thank you.
Keep your eyes out for season 2 next week!
This episode delves into the life of Olivia Martin. Liv is an incredibly courageous, compassionate and willing to be vulnerable. Last year she found herself in a relationship that quickly turned into an abusive relationship.

This episode delves into the life of Sophie Marsh. A 2nd year PHD Student, Associate University Lecturer and Blogger. Together we have an open conversation about men's violence against women and look to understand what this actually looks like on a systematic and day-to-day level, what the consequences are and what men can do about it.
This episode really opened my eyes to the general lack of awareness and understanding of the situation, myself included. I ask Sophie about the many types of violent behaviour that exists and how men can start conversations to challenge this within friendship groups. We also ponder the where the boundary lies between a compliment and harassment after her flatmates Depop exchange experience went viral on Twitter.
If you fancy reading more on the subject, I highly recommend checking out Sophie's website where she expresses her research in a less formal tone, along with discussions on criminal justice, human rights and plant-based recipe's.
