In part two of my interview with Sandy Cooper and Mary K Tiller on their podcast, Writing Off Social, we chat about how my business has grown since leaving social media and what I'm doing to make it happen, as well as the response I get from other entrepreneurs in the online space when I tell them I'm not on social media. I also offer some encouragement and practical steps you can take if you, too, want to leave social media but are afraid to do so.

I left social media in January of 2021 for life and business, and I haven't looked back. One of the most pain-pointed questions I hear from other entrepreneurs who have a great product to sell and a powerful message to share is that they can’t figure out how to grow their audience quickly. It seems like they are putting themselves out there, doing all the right work, trying to grow the thing, but all they hear are crickets.

People don’t succeed by chance. It’s not by chance, it’s a choice. It starts with a decision, then a plan, and finally, working the plan while tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary.

Today we’re going to dive deep into the first three steps of the game planning process: 1) define the goal in writing 2) define a definite deadline 3) create a written plan

Then we’ll briefly talk about the last four steps of the process: 4) take action 5) evaluate and adjust 6) associate 7) see it through.

So much to get through today, but I know that it will help you gain clarity in how you can take your big dream and break it down into smaller stepping stone goals and doable chunks. Let’s get into it.
