God created us for relationship with Him, not one-way conversations where we do all the talking. He is a God who speaks! He guides, comforts, heals, and leads His people. We come to the Father not because of our effort, but because of His unfailing love. We are like sheep and we are to know the Shepherd's voice. God’s voice sounds like a loving Father, bringing comfort in sorrow, healing in brokenness, and hope when we fall short. He speaks in many ways, often into the ordinary rhythms of our lives, and His silence is not His absence. As a church, we want to move from simply believing God speaks to actively expecting Him to speak, making space to hear from Him and becoming a people truly led and filled by the Holy Spirit.
