Less than 12 hours after Jesus displayed His glory to and through the disciples by feeding the multitude, He uses another difficult situation to help them to see clearly that He really is the Son of God. Today we will see how even the most difficult storms in life can become the clearest moments of seeing Jesus! 

イエスが弟子たちに、そして弟子たちを通して、大勢の人々に食事を与えることによってご自身の栄光を示された１２時間足らず後、イエスは別の困難な状況を用いて、弟子たちがイエスは本当に神の子であることをはっきりと見ることができるようにされました。この個所を通して、私たちは、人生における最も困難な嵐でさえ、イエスを見る最も明確な瞬間になり得ることをみましょう。

Today we will look at one special miracle of Jesus. This miracle had a profound impact on the disciples. And this miracle has a profound impact on us as followers of Jesus ourselves. It is a great help not only to know who Jesus is, but also to trust what He does in our own lives.

今日は、イエス様のある特別な奇跡を見ていきます。この奇跡は弟子たちに大きな衝撃を与えました。そして、この奇跡はイエスに従う私たち自身にも、大きな影響を与えます。それは、イエス様がどのようなお方であるかを知るためにだけでなく、私たち自身の人生においてイエス様がしてくださることを信頼するための大きな手助けになるのです。

今日の箇所で、イエス様がご自身について語ることが真実であると断言する４人の証人が紹介されます。では、その証人とは誰なのでしょうか？彼らはどのようにイエス様のことばを肯定するのでしょうか？そして最後に、その証人が証したことについて、私たちはどう答えるべきでしょうか？

In today's passage, we are introduced to four witnesses who affirm that what Jesus says about Himself is true. Who are these witnesses? How do they affirm Jesus' words? And finally, how should we respond to what these witnesses testify?

Knowing who Jesus is is incredibly important, because it helps you to determine how much  you’re willing to trust Him. And it’s through that trust that Jesus gives you life. In our passage, Jesus tells us a lot about Himself. Let's take a closer look at what they are.

イエス様が誰であるかを知ることは、非常に重要です。なぜなら、イエス様を知ることは、自分がどれだけイエス様に信頼を置くことに影響するからです。そして、その信頼によって、イエス様はあなたに命を与えるのです。今日の箇所で、イエス様はご自身についてさまざまなことを語ってくださいます。それはなんであるのかをじっくり見ていきましょう。

In today’s passage, after healing the crippled man at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus tells the Jewish leaders　why He has the authority to heal on the Sabbath. And in his answer, he reveals to them something amazing: that He truly is the Son of God!

今日の箇所では、ベテスダの池で足の不自由な人を癒した後、ユダヤの指導者たちに、イエスがなぜ安息日に癒す権威があるのかを彼らにはっきり説明します。そしてその答えの中で、イエスが驚くべきことを彼らに示します。それは、イエスは本当に神の子であることです！
