What happens when you find yourself in a place where it seems like you've lost everything? And worse, it's something you know you deserve? Today we're going to look at what led the children of Israel to this very point. Psalm 79, tells the story of those who suffered this great loss. In their story, we find sorrow and grief, but also hope. Ultimately, we discover something valuable that they gained even through their loss.

詩篇７３篇は、ある人が、周りの人や自分自身、そして神様への正しい視点を失っていた時期を通ったストーリーです。その間違った視点が、彼の心に影響を与え、神様への信頼をも失いそうになってしまったこと、しかし彼が、物事を新たにはっきりと見えるように、リフレッシュした視点を取り戻せた方法も教えてくれます。

Psalm 73 is the story of one man's journey through a time when he had lost the proper perspective of those around him, of himself, and of God. In this Psalm, he tells us how that mistaken perspective affected his heart and caused him to almost lose his faith in God. But we're also going to see what helped him to see things clearly again.

日々の生活の中で、神様の恵み深さを示すものが何も見えない時、どこを見ても苦難しか見えない時、神様の約束が実現することはないように思ってしまう時、どうすればいいのでしょうか？信仰が細い糸になってしまったら？詩篇第三巻は、そのような状況でも、イエス様がロープを握ってくださっていれば、一本の糸のような信仰でも十分だということを教えてくれます。

What happens when it seems that nothing in your life is visibly displaying the goodness of God? Wherever you look is distress, and it seems that there’s no way His promises will come true? When your faith is on a thread? Book 3 of Psalms walks us through those times, but it also shows us that even just a thread of faith is enough when Jesus is holding the rope.

全人類の平和。それは誰もが望んでいることではないでしょうか。しかし、私たち人間はどんなに努力しても、それを実現することはなかなかできないように見えませんか。詩篇７２篇は、その平和の現実を、その源に直接指し示しています。それは来たるべき義で満ちた王イエスです。

Peace for all mankind. It's something that we all want and hope for, isn’t it? But no matter how hard we humans try, we never really seem to get close to achieving it do we? Psalm 72 points us to the reality of that peace by pointing us directly to its source: The coming righteous King Jesus.

積極的に神様と神様の祝福を追い求め、その祝福によって積極的に神様を賛美することは、どれほど重要なことでしょうか？詩篇６７篇では、私たちと神様との関係の、とても個人的な部分が同時に、私たちの周りにいる人々に大きな影響を与えていることを発見します。

How important is it that you actively pursue God and His blessings, and then actively praise Him FOR His blessings? In Psalm 67, we discover that what is a very personal aspect of our relationship with God, at the same time has an incredibly huge impact to people all around us.
