How can you know if you are a genuine Christian? Just as there are ways you can tell if a diamond is real or fake, there are also ways we can see if our faith is real or fake.

How do we protect our heart from being overwhelmed by difficult situations, even when we know God is in control? How do we live in a way that lets us shine as lights in the world that brings God glory? Choose to be joyful!

Last week, we looked at what it means to watch and learn from others in our lives, and also the importance of showing others how God's grace is flowing through your life. But what happens if you aren't like Paul or Timothy? What if you don't think you have all that much of God's grace to show to others?

For most of us, we learn best by watching and learning from other people. This is also true for how we grow as Christians. As Paul prepares to send Timothy to the church in Philippi, we see how important it is to "watch and learn."

How does the relationship between the coach and the players affect the strength of the team? And what does this relationship look like in the church family?
