Austin Knight, is an outstanding talent for the Murray State men's golf team. Mr. 60 as we started to call him when he posted a round of 60 a month before he hit a shot for the Racers in 2017, Knight is a lefty with a all the shots in his bag. Knight also wants to bring another OVC winner to Coach Eddie Hunt in 2019. Knight also struggles with a major health problem, but he never lets it get him down. Our Wayback Wednesday segment takes us to the last OVC championship for MSU men's golf in 2010.

Senior MSU women's golf student-athlete Anna Moore of Hopkinsville, Ky., and her teammates are trying to win the OVC Championship for a third straight time. Moore has been a big part of the last two titles for the Racers and helps set the culture of winning in the Racer program. Today she talks about the impact that Coach Velvet Milkman has on her career and the mental toughness it takes to play the game. Wayback Wednesday is a history lesson of the great teams and OVC champions that have won 11 titles for women's golf at Murray State. MSU baseball and softball remain in first place in the OVC and the late great Johnny Reagan was honored over the weekend. Racer Basketball wraps up a great season with the awards banquet and more special awards for future NBA star Ja Morant as he gets named the top point guard in the nation with the Bob Cousy Award.

Tamdra Lawrence, out of Macon, Ga., has been a fast runner since she first competed in a track event at 10 years old. Now she's a senior at Murray State and has a chance to become the first in OVC history to win the 100m event in four consecutive seasons. Don't let her calmness fool you. Inside, there beats the heart of a champion, one that is self-motivated to be great. This Wayback Wednesday takes us to 2012 when another great sprinter, Alexis Love, was making Murray State history and was eyeing a spot on the USA Olympic Team. MSU Basketball star Ja Morant declared for the NBA Draft last week and we have all 13 minutes of audio from his historic announcement.

Murray State and OVC Hall of Famer, Coach Margaret Simmons, visits the podcast with a lot of interesting stories of when she wrote a letter to MSU President Dr. Woods and suggested she begin a women's track & field program. 23 years later, Simmons had built the program into an OVC power. She also influenced the sport at the NCAA level as well. The Ja Morant show continues long after the season is over, as the MSU star becomes a consensus All-America selection. Wayback Wednesday studies the chronological order of the retired numbers of Murray State men's basketball.

From 2009-12, homegrown Murray talent Casey Brockman recorded one of the top careers in the history of Racer Football. As the pilot of the "Hatch Attack" Brockman had the nickname "Wild Horse" as he and the Racers put up ridiculous offensive statistics. Perhaps a future MSU Hall of Famer, Brockman talks of how he got the chance to play at MSU, that amazing come back on homecoming day in 2010 to beat Missouri State 72-59 and his recent change in his professional career path. We also wrap up the Racers' amazing run at the NCAA Basketball Tournament in Hartford and Ja Morant who had a triple-double in the win over Marquette. Our Wayback Wednesday feature goes back to the 1988 NCAA Tournament when the Racers defeated NC State. The play by play man that day was Randy Herndon. He was in Hartford and tells us his memories of the Racers' first win in the NCAA Tournament.

Out of Sarasota, Fla., Brion Whitley is an excellent 3-point shooter and one of the glue guys that holds the Racer men's basketball team together. Whitley is proud to be part of the outstanding basketball program the Racers have and his career plans might be as a public servant as he thinks about entering the political arena. Murray State Rifle is headed to the NCAA Tournament for a fourth-straight season under head coach Alan Lollar. A grand program that started in 1956, Racer Rifle has been to the NCAAs 33 times and 12 have come under the leadership of Coach Lollar. The Racers compete in the NCAAs, March 8-9, in Morgantown, West Virginia. We’ll get the scoop from Coach Lollar and speak to Racer seniors MacKenzie Martin, Barb Schläpfer and Eric Sloan. The tremendous saga of Ja Morant’s sophomore basketball season with the Racers keeps getting better and better.
