The West is once again trying to make “Syrian Rebels” happen as the mainstream media report on the latest violent terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic group Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham (HTS) targeting northwestern Syria.

Meanwhile, Russia is joining Syria’s response, and the Russian Military reported on Friday that their joint operations killed more than 400 jihadists in a series of airstrikes near the cities of Aleppo and Idlib.

The Biden Admin may only have two months left, but it is using this lame-duck season to push the U.S. closer and closer to direct war with Russia, as the White House confirms it is allowing long-range strikes on Russian territory, despite repeated warnings from Moscow.

The West can’t seem to get enough of provoking WW3 against Russia… as a new report states that the UK and France have “reignited” their talks on deploying NATO troops to Ukraine, as both have joined the U.S. in allowing long-range strikes on Russian territory (using Kiev as a proxy).

This, as the French foreign minister is proudly declaring that there are “no red lines” for support for Ukraine. While this isn’t the first time France has tried to make “NATO troops for Ukraine” happen, they seem to be working overtime with the UK and the U.S. to use the excuse of needing to “Trump proof” the alliance to escalate tensions with Russia.

Hezbollah launched a massive attack against Israel, which is being called its “largest attack yet,” as the group said its targets included the Ashdod naval base in southern Israel for the first time, as well as a military target near Tel Aviv.

This, as a senior adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader said in an interview that Tehran is preparing its response to Israel’s attack last month on Iranian territory.

While Israel continues to kill civilians by the hundreds from Gaza to Lebanon, the international community continues to do nothing… … except for the ICC, which finally got around to announcing arrest warrants for Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant for charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Russian President Putin confirmed that Moscow fired its new ‘Oreshnik’ hypersonic ballistic missile in what he described as a “combat test” targeting a military industrial facility in the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk.

He noted that the strikes was part of the response to attacks this week from the U.S. and the UK (through their proxies in Kiev), using American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles on internationally-recognized Russian territory for the first time.

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that while this attack clearly sends a warning to the West of Russia’s capabilities, it’s also the latest warning as Moscow updated its nuclear doctrine this week. And we are likely to see even more of a response, especially if the attacks using Western-made long-range missiles continue, because Russia has made it clear that it sees the attacks as coming from the Western countries involved—not just Kiev.

The Biden Admin is saying “no comment” when asked about reports that the U.S. president lifted restrictions on Kiev’s use of long-range missiles to attack Russia, despite repeated warnings from Moscow that it would treat Washington as a direct participant in the attacks.

While Biden hasn’t been allowed to talk to reporters since he wandered off into the Amazon Rain Forest, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is reportedly considering sending the UK’s Storm Shadow missiles for strikes inside Russia.

Notably, German Chancellor Olaf is still saying “nein” in response to the question of whether Berlin will send Taurus missiles. And he was the last Western leader to talk to Russian President Putin directly.

Multiple U.S. media outlets are reporting that for the first time, Biden has removed restrictions on Kiev’s use of U.S.-supplied long-range missiles for strikes inside Russian territory.

While such a move isn’t expected to lead to any significant changes on the battlefield (where Russian forces are advancing), it would serve to drastically escalate tensions, as Russian President Putin has already warned that Moscow will treat any such assault as a direct attack by the countries that supplied the weapons.

The Biden Admin only has two months left, the next U.S. president is calling for peace and promising to try to end the war, and even German Chancellor Olaf Scholz dared to call Putin on the phone for the first time in two years… so, if these reports turn out to be true, it will be a reminder that the U.S. Establishment isn’t taking any chances when it comes to ensuring the Ukraine war continues.

Russian President Putin and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz held their first phone call in nearly two years, in which they discussed the war in Ukraine. While Scholz expressed his support for Kiev, Putin noted that Russia is open to a peace deal, but that Moscow's terms are well known and need to be respected.

We also discussed the reported dialogue between Elon Musk and Iran's UN Ambassador, and what it tells us about what the second term of the Trump Admin could be looking to pursue (yes, even with its most Hawkish cabinet members). Dave DeCamp, News Editor at Antiwar.com, noted that while several of Trump's picks have voiced concern about U.S. support for the war in Ukraine, that doesn't take away from the fact that they seem to be want war first with Iran in the Middle East, and then with China, through Taiwan.

Ukrainian military officials are sounding the alarm (anonymously) to the Western media, as they are quoted saying that their defenses are "crumbling" in the Donbass, as Russian forces advance. This as the officials say they also fear a complete collapse of Kiev's incursion into Russia's Kursk region.
